Description
Claytons Power Trail
The power trail you have when you're not having a power trail.
The CPT series was placed for a GC event to be held in Echuca on Anzac Day 2013. It started out with a plan for a power trail of GCA caches but ended up becoming a series of caches placed in various locations between Elmore and Mathoura.

Many years ago I joined the Cubs and then progressed into the Scouts. Although it was so many years ago I still recall our pack traveling down here from Echuca on a hot summer day. Along the riverbank close to here was a "mud" slide and we spent the afternoon sliding down from the top of the riverbank into the cooling waters below. Today the trees have grown thicker and the number of logs in the river has increased. I doubt a suitable could now be found to safely slide down the bank.
The cache contains log book and pen.

Heading on the return journey now back to Bendigo from the event outside Echuca, The Morris and I were making a few stops along the way. We did a good mix of GC and GCA caches then I headed further south back to Melbourne, phew it was a long day!
Thanks for the cache and the series WazzaAndWenches.
Thanks again.....
Thanks to WazzaandWenches we had a run to Elmore this afternoon to log some finds & head toward our GCA goal of 200 finds.
Once we found the way in, quickly had cache in hand on another lovely riverside stop.

Mud slides may not appeal to us but finding well hidden GCA caches does, and we were not disappointed here today.
Made our approach from the highway without realising there was probably a better avenue available.
Thanks again Wazza and your Wenches.
