Day 3 of our journey to Alexandra. Left Nanango Qld on Monday and stayed overnight in Moree. Left Moree early on Tuesday and now it is Wednesday and we are staying in Dubbo till Friday. Collecting GCA hides on the way south as this is the perfect time for me to increase my finds for GCA and my Dragon Zone points. This one is in the area next to where we are staying. Parked at the roadside and walked up to the rocks and found a very suitable hide. Replaced the log with a proper log book.

A very quick find while on a walk along the river locating few caches (5 for the walk). The only thing is the cache was a receipt being used as a log sheet. Unfortunately I didn't have and maintenance gear with me.

I dropped by this riverside location this arvo to look at some rocks Laughing
Some bloke on a mountain bike with those silly 'fat' tyres, and his dog were doing laps of the area.
I wandered up the hill as fat guy rode up to the top.
Sitting on a comfy rock at GZ, I watched fat guy roll back down again.
It was about now that his dog decided that was enough and sat down under a shady tree nearby, while fat guy continued up and down.
So with the 'sensible dog' for company I poked around for this cache Think

It took several fat guy laps for me to spot the caches hiding place.
Nice hide, and I signed the scrap of paper inside Smile

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done. Thanks.

Grabbed with Albida while heading towards Stanthorpe and the Mega. Walked over to GZ and the soon hand the cache in hand. Always good to grab a few GA as well. Thanks theroaker123....

Found the cache container out in the open with no log book. Placed a piece of paper in and rehid where we thought it had come from.

Found it easier than I thought I would on a lively night out walking in the light rain.
TNLN, although I wish I had taken something to leave in there as the log book seemed a little lonely in such a good sized container.

Found on the NSW leg of our Round Aust trip
Staying a couple of days in Dubbo, had a huge day at the Zoo Saturday and backed up again Sunday for another big day, got to feed a Giraffe as it was my birthday. Later, on the way back to the caravan park we found some caches and some waymarks.

Today we are staying an extra day for a rest day and to catch up with clothes washing and to try and get the kids to do some school work, LOL! I ducked into town to visit the bank and ran around finding some waymarks, GCA caches and trig point.
Really nice park and view point over the river
Im surprised to be 2nd to find on this one

Passed this park a few times today and noticed several camper vans in the parking area. GPS wanted us to come from the bridge down the walking path to this one but I don't think that we would have gotten away with that although a police car did come down there while we were at GZ. A nice hide in a nice park area. Can't believe that we got a FTF, that wouldn't take a month in a park in Tassie. Thanks.
