Description

This is a disguised cache container. Think of  the Purloined Letter when you are having a look. As a former South Australian, I have set up this cache in honour of something distinctly South Australian and pretty much unheard of (name-wise) anywhere else.

This  is a fairly standard sized cache, of course it doesn't look like a standard sized cache. It is alongside a road that can get a bit busy, but there is close by side street parking available for you. I would have to say that it is at around head height, and it contains a log book, pencil and a swap.

Please be sure to replace as you find, it is a part of the hunt and you will see why once you spot this one.

This is an area without much cover, so you will need to be particularly sneaky. In fact, you never know who can be watching for geocachers from their kitchen in this area.......

Love these types of caches, right there under muggles watchful eyes without them even knowing, but easy to spot by the experienced cacher. Spotted the hide before I even parked the car. Made the quick dash to grab and sign the log just on dark.
Love the very creative and unique container, certainly blends in with its environment very well.

#GA460 - 14:45; I had dropped a mate at the airport and decided on a caching run through Launceston and down the West Tamar on the way back to Bridport. Parked across the road from GZ and headed over. Spotted something suspicious and soon had cache in hand. Great effort in preparing this cache. Log signed, cache returned and I was soon on my way. 28-Nov-14
A clever hide, totally out of place, however, hidden in plain sight .. thanks..!!

08-Sep-14
No need to search too hard for this one, but success was all in the timing with traffic coming from every direction. Managed that bit OK but no idea if I was spied upon by neighbours who had an excellent view of my furtive activites if they were home.

15-Feb-14
I really like these hides - the only issue was that I could hear someone inside the house a few metres away, so I felt very obvious.
I took the cache back to the car to sign and then returned to replace it.
Thanks.

This cache was clearly visible from the car as we approached, as something that was obviously out of place in it's current location. Very nicely constructed container though Smile

22-Jun-13
As we approached GZ we saw something not normally associated with these structures. Closer examination revealed a very well constructed cache with exceptional attention to detail. The contents of the cache were in excellent condition. Thanks for another great cache and hide Ghosthoowalks.

With all the cachers active in this area was surprised to be the second to find this one. Spotted it as we drove past then did a lap of the block before parking and grabbing it. As it was a busy road traffic wise decided to be bold and just go for this one. Signed in the car and then returned in the same fashion. Mr Beetle did notice an observer with the curtain pulled aside in the house opposite, wondered if this was the cache owner! Thanks for a clever cache.

Woo Hoo Very Happy FTF Very Happy @ 16:50hrs. With geovan in tow we were on our way back from the coast when we heard the chime of a newly published cache. Made a detour and soon had cache in hand. Just as well not a good spot to be with a caravan.

Excellent cache container and hide. TFTC
