The cache is still there, but extremely rust. As the CO seems not to be playing I won't log an SBA as tat will simply get the cache archived but while it is still there it should remain. If the next finder can take a mint tin and magnet that would be a great replacement for the rusty one currently in play.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache hide for us to find on our long weekend away in Warnambool, checking out the sites, the geocaches and the local TrigPoints.

#GA1971 - 13:20; Day five of a caching mission to Victoria with Sol de lune. The plan for today was to head south through Beaufort to Penshurst, Port Fairy and Warnambool, before heading back via Camperdown and Lismore to Creswick caching all the way. After collecting a a few caches in and around Port Fairy, we had now reached Warnambool for some further caches before heading back for home base. It seems there is a lot of building going on in this area and parking was at a premium. Located the waterlogged cache and Sdl grabbed a snap as we couldn't sign the very wet log. TFTC Smergol

Lots of new houses in the area but we found our way in and then down to the cache. Found the cache ok however the container is missing the lid and the contents are soaked. No way we could the log as it was so wet, so have included a photo of it.
Thanks for another one Smergol....this one will need a visit for a bit of TCL.

After DNFing this one 12 months ago I had some time on my hands today for another try and found it rather quickly leaving wondering why I missed it last time, a much simpler hide than I was expecting too
Thanks for the hunt

Our GPS took us in through a new subdivision with wall to wall block shaped homes crammed in together with no street parking. Don't think we could live like that!!
Anyway back to the cache. To get to it we had to scramble down the hill to GZ where a quick find was made and then climb back up again.
Fortunately it was only a very small hill.
This is the last of the caches on this trail from Port Fairy to Warrnambool that we attempted. We apologise for only getting the ones close to the roads but we will return with our pushbikes to get all the in between ones that we missed. We do have a motorbike on a rack on the back of the van but I don't think we would have got away with using that.
Thanks heaps for all the GCA caches and we will return!!

On our way home from the Mega and stayed the night in Warnambool. Also arrived near GZ and did the slide down to the track. Very clever and good hide. Quick find. Driving as far as Port Campbell today and doing the sights.

Another relatively quick find while in the area. Parked abovre and scrambled down the hill.
A combination of accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of this cache which was located in quite a nice area. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Like this trail and always better when there's a few caches to find. SL, TFTC

We are so excited - this is our very first FTF We took the FTF pathtag and signed the log ... but someone signed the log before us "... found this 21st/5th/13" which is very strange as the log wasn't placed until September!
