Description

Need to know where to go?

This is a small container that I have placed where you might find some direction, should you be looking for it.

At present, it contains a log book, pencil and a couple of small swaps. There is a good chance of being discovered looking for this on a nice day, so you may ned to keep an eye out for the inevitable muggle as you search.

Enjoy the hunt!!

Took a bit to find this, maybe our heads weren’t in cache finding mode? Maybe we were over complicating it? Had to wrestle geo daughter for the cache all in the spirit of the geocaching games 2018 Smile (no geokids were hurt during this rumble.... sorta .... maybe)

I love these containers, the contents are nice but they make great containers to keep things in including matches and petroleum wool for camping. TFTC lovely place to be on a great day.

#GA890 - 10:45; Back in Tassie on family business, so the opportunity to collect a few more of the local caches was too good to pass up. I was on my way to a meeting in the city, but with a little time to spare, decided to grab a couple more finds. Another convenient park a quick find and sign and I was quickly on my way again. Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.

Today we ducked into Launceston hoping that Sunday would mean less muggles around. Anxious

Dropped by this cache whilst completing a nearby multi.

Found the log book and the lid of this one laying on the ground. Between muggles we managed to find the rest of the container which was still attached to its host and restore things to normal. Thanks.

10-Jan-15
Out for a bike ride with Friesianess and we stopped in to log this one.
Was a bit perturbed to find the container was alive, but a closer look showed that the inhabitants were earwigs, not scorpions. At least half a dozen were evicted and the cache returned to location. Clan Phoenix

Being tourist season I knew I had to be careful but at sunset at 9pm Ish it was still busy with strollers. I had to read the nearby historical signs several times over before I could return the container. TFTC

Zal and I spent 10 days touring Tasmania and it was the most amazing trip ever! We got engaged at Cradle Mountain and saw so many wonderful things. Even the weather played nice most of the time Razz Thanks for the hunt, it is always tricky logging lots of holiday finds so apologies for the cut'n'paste log, Zal included more details Wink

G'day Tasmania. Zhaoy and Zalgariath checking in. Only on a whirlwind tour but seeing the sights and grabbing a few caches alone the way... starting here!

06-Dec-14
After an enjoyable walk along the river a stop was made to find this cache. Very happy to be able to duck out of site when at GZ as there were many folks in the nearby restaurant that I was getting concerned about on approach. A quick find, signed and left a pencil, then continued on to the gorge.
Thanks for the cache Ghosthoowalks.

the art of being discrete, probably failed dismally... nice location, thanks ..!!

Finally got to replace the log book for this one today.

31-Aug-14
Took a bit longer than it should have. The find was easy as I'd "pre-scanned" for muggles. Then I found the container a bit of a challenge to open. Never seen one like this before. The "d'uh" moment arrived eventually. Then it took _forever_ to replace as muggles popped up into & out of cars, fiddling with phones, kids on bikes going back & forth etc. Honestly, I read every single log entry 3 times over whilst standing there. "Log card" still in action but getting fuller.

20-Jul-14
A nice easy find in a lovely location. Thanks for the cache

17-Jul-14
I knew there must be some caches on my afternoon runs, so had a look for some on line, found some, will now keep my eye out for more as I go. Needs a new logbook.

25-May-14
Found after going for a walk from Royal Park to the Seaport and back, detoured here before heading back to the car. TFTC GCA find #2 Total (exc. locationless) #172
Picked up swaggie, it will also need a logbook as all there is to sign in a piece of cardboard.

09-Jan-14
Not to many people around today so it was a relatively easy find. Problem was the lid was off the container and there was no log book. Signed the back of a card, left a swaggie and replaced lid securely. TFTC

07-Jan-14
Quick easy find while out bike riding, didn't swap anything. TFTC

02-Jan-14

Hi spooky
An early morning start had me meet Budgietas at 1000hrs heading for Launceston.
This cache was found in his company at 1255hrs.
The date today was also significant: 11/12/13; how long before a similar sequence will occur.
Thank you and cheers
OldSaint.

Woo Hoo Very Happy * FTF* Very Happy @ 15:20 hrs. Arriving home after the toy run we managed to score a FTF in an area familiar to us. Made a quick find in between a constant stream of dog walking muggles. TFTC
