Our first cache hide, nice and easy
This micro cache is a film cannister placed above ground in Sundial Park which is a local park favoured by bmx riders. Approximately 8 mts. off the road where Muirfield crescent intersects Blackheath Rd. there is a clump of trees and that's where the treasure lies. There is a Pathtag for FTF. Happy hunting!!

Logs
Bushturkeys I didn’t find your cache Teddy's treasure on 9 Oct 2023 at 5:58 pm. Searched around but nothing found.
Came in to Noosa this morning from Cooroy. Our main aim was to get the 3 GCA caches here. We managed 2 of them but ran out of time to look for the third.
The coordinates had me on the grass but there was a fairly obvious hiding place not too far away.
Went in for the search and there were some oddly placed sticks that suggested the hiding place but despite removing them and poking around I didn't find a cache. Searched a few other possibilities, went back to the van and read the logs and then returned to where I thought it should be. Was just about to give up when I delved a little deeper and there was the cache!!!!
Perseverance really paid off here!!1
There was heaps of treasure on the sides of the road as we drove to this one. Guess it was one of those days when you can put out bigger items of rubbish. Some of it looked pretty good and I hope by the amount of it that they were bringing a damned big truck.
Thanks, third Tassie finder in a row for this one too.

Really wanted to grab this one today whilst getting a moveable nearby. It was literally monsoonal rain and it was just too wet. I'll try and get this on another visit.
Weaved my way through the streets and soon arrived at the neat park area. Headed over to GZ and started a search that didn't take long to uncover the cache. Soon had the log signed, but such a pity more cachers don't come by. A neat area that is certainly worth a visit.
Thanks Bushturkeys.....enjoyed the area.

Parked up on the street and walked approxintey 8 meters towards the group of trees. GPSr was not being co operative at the moment as it wanted me another 5 meters away in the middle of the grass. Lokked and looked especially in the obvious places but could not find it Last find 2.5 years ago so I had to make an assumption that it was no longer there so left a throw down in an obious spot for a geocacher to think could be the hide. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save room on the paper. Thanks for bringing me to an area that I very seldom visit. TFTC Bushturkeys

I was caching in the area today and this one came up on the GPS and I headed around the streets until I arrived for a close park.
I looked at the previous logs and I was surprised to see that it had not been found since January and then noticed that it was a GCA only cache and that explained it. If the cache owner wants to get more finds they would be better to list the cache on the www.geocaching.com site.
I found the cache easily as it was exposed although covered in ant nest. I signed the log and replaced it where I found it.
Thanks for the hunt.

Joint *FTF* with Seirra1. Well, I think this might be my first ever FTF on a GCA cache and I am very happy! I saw the notification when I checked my emails and it was already about an hour old. Since we were planning a trip, sort of in this direction anyway, I asked seirra1 if we could drop in on this one as well. So we finished our lunch and off we went. We arrived at GZ and parked pretty close, and checked the area out from the car. Only a couple of muggle children down at the BMX track and one muggle mum with a stroller a fair distance away and leaving the area. We followed the directions and found Teddy guarding the treasure. We left Teddy undisturbed as we retrieved the cache, signed the log, and returned it all as it was. Thank you for the pathtag. I love pathtags! I have a fair collection. It is so wonderful to see another GCA cache on the Sunny Coast. Thank you very much for the cache Bushturkeys.
