Cache is hidden near one end of the pedestrian bridge.
Snuva's excellent multi cache, "Campbell Town Convict Brick Trail" GC1FFGW is close by - definitely worth the extra break from the journey!

My first two attempts at this were cut short by the presence of muggles. Today being here early I put my hand on it straight away thanks to accurate co-ordinates and a good hint.

Hi Dippy, been a long time. I cannot believe that I haven’t found this one before. Took me a bit to actually find it. Absolutely fantastic hide. TFTC

I am pretty sure that I have looked for this one before but obviously I didn't find it, so at least I can say that this one is found and logged and TFTC Dippedidooda.

Thanks for the cache Dippedidooda.
RLD4963 and I were headed north for the weekend with the GeoGSP, and we decided to stop in Campbelltown for a coffee and to stretch out legs. This park is a great area and is not as busy as other spots in Campbelltown, so it was nice to have a reason to stop. This was a nice quick find and we were able to retrieve the cache, sign the log and return the cache to it's hiding place on a lovely sunny morning.

Today i had to travel to Ross for work, so i decided to stop here and stretch my legs. i had a look to see if there was any geocaches in the area and seen this one was close by, so i decided to try and find it. i was searching around the bridge when i realised i was looking at the wrong end of the bridge, i proceeded to the other end where after a few seconds of looking the cache was in hand. the bag around the log was damp so i hoped the logbook was not wet like the bag but guess what the logbook was dry as a bone.
sighed my name and placed cache back into hiding and off to ross for work. TFTC

One year and two days since this was last found. Took a couple of goes. Thanks for the cache.
#GA2832 - 14:25; After an early morning arrival in Devonport, the geohoney and I disembarked from the Spirit of Tasmania II with a bit of time on our hands before we headed to Port Sorell for breakfast with friends. Finally located a bakery in Latrobe after failing to do so in Devonport, but we did find a couple of caches there. After a nice breakfast in our friends' new home, it was time to head off again for Hobart. Following a few more finds we made it to Launceston and then along the Midlands Highway to Campbell Town. Parked the geomobile and while the geohoney got some retail therapy, I did a spot of caching. I took the geomobile for a drive further south to collect this cache and a couple of others in the general area. I certainly made hard work of this one, thinking if I went and stood under the bridge I might see the cache and make a quick grab. No such luck. In the end the geosenses came good and I located the cache, but it took longer than it should have if I had persisted a little longer where I commenced the hunt. My reward for the delay was to get wet as I wandered back to the car as the rain got heavier!. TFTC Dippedidooda

We had a lovely afternoon caching in Campbell Town. It always seems to be busy here. This is a lovely park and the wooden tree sculptures are amazing. We had a to wait for a couple of sets of muggle tourists to remove themselves from the bridge before we tried the old shoelace tieing tactic and nabbed the cache. And it was signed, sealed and delivered back into it's hidey hole quicker than you can say Dippedidooda. Thanks so much for the cache.
one of the rare times that I have travelled thru campbell town without the whining family in tow, all in unison saying "no, not stopping". anyway, today was the day, by my lonesome and able to stop in town to track down a few outstanding gca caches. very nicely hidden away, i have a couple of these type of caches out there myself.. thanks..!!

After sorting through various aspects of the dz trophy points it looked like another rather long day trip was in order. The prime objective being a cache in the southern midlands area then collecting any other available GA caches on the way back home with side road diversions where needed. After days of abysmal cold weather up in the NW, the forecast for today over the midlands was for a frosty start then a generally clear morning.Set off at 8am in very over cast and freezing conditions but further south the skies had cleared for a rather sunny morning. After 2 3/4 hrs driving, gz for the main cache 'C u on the highway' was closing in. Signed log then time to head back north to nab some more GCA caches.
Haven't been to Blackburn Park for eons...bridge not even built back then. Had the wrong container initially...wouldn't open at all..then realising my mistake, actually spotted the correct one...omg...glasses have been ordered..lol. Cache and contents in good order.
TFTC Dippy.....much appreciated...cheers ST.

This was the last of our Campbell Town caches for the day. Having discovered the Christmas in July games just days before they finished we decided to make a token effort and stopped for some GCA caches durning by our trip north. Pity DD has to work tomorrow or we could have found more.TFTC
Hello Dippedidooda thanks for the cache.
EeePees, LilRaffa and my self had left Hobart early this morning to go to Launceston to go to the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event. After the very well attended event we had a leisurely drive home looking for caches as we went.
On our way home we stopped off to find all of the caches we hadn't already found in Campbell Town as it ended up none of us had found any of the active caches so we had a big list to tick off.
This was one of many on the long list I left the others as they collected the information for the multi on the other side of the road and quickly found this cache I had trouble opening the container as others have done before me.

Hi Dippedidooda, this one was found by AlbyDangles whilst we were out on a grand day's caching with Lil Rafa too.
We had a very early morning start down south, made our way up the icy highway to attend the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event at Trevallyn Tailrace Park, for some piratey fun and cacher catch-up.
On the way home we stopped to grab various caches, this being one.
THANKS for it.

A long time since there has been a find on this one!
Found quickly by Mrs Beetle [who was initially on muggle guard duty] after Mr Beetle had given up. That doesn't happen very often!!
Thanks.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
The house is parked at Campbelltown so today we were able to explore both Ross and Campbelltown. Lovely historic areas.
We loved bimbling about exploring and poking around in all the shops and reading historic signs. Needless to say we took loads of photos, and were pleased that we got back home before it started to rain again.
This one actually took 3 visits. Mr Felix approached on his own but had a DNF, we returned together and with a bit of thought searching the cache was located. Then back at the house Mrs Felix could not find her glasses so a return visit to locate the glasses.

I'd seen the statutes on the way south last week and we just had to stop on the way back north. The cache took some finding but I got there eventually, then wandered over to appreciate the carvings.
Thanks Dippedidooda for another great spot in this small town.

TFTC good clue had me searching in the right area so I was able to grab the cache before anyone ventured along the bridge.

We were hoping to find 5 caches in Campbell Town today and this one was first of our list, however, when we arrived the park was being enjoyed by many muggles so we left it till last. On our return we still had to bide our time until the last of the nearby caravans left. It was a nice spot to sit and wait. A well camouflaged container. Thanks Dippy for all your Campbell Town caches, they were great.
Nicely tucked away, and no muggles about made it easier !
Thanks for the cache, Dippedidooda !

We have a long history of coming unstuck at the simplest of hides. Well, the more difficult ones even more so. This was our unsticking point today, even though we were cached up & firing after finding Dippy's other two in CT. We had a good poke about at our GZ including a certain object that we're 90% sure is legit & possibly dangerous to open (but having found some evil caches you're never really sure). Of course the fact that it was found mere hours or less before us just makes it all the more galling as it's clearly not been muggled. Never fear, we're through here once or twice a month so it won't defeat us.
Today we visited Campbell Town, finding caches that had been published since our last visit and this once one of them.
Had to wait for duck feeding muggles to move on before finding this colour coded cache. TFTC

Well third time lucky, finally found it! It's all in the timing, managed to get a chance to look without people everywhere and then just got it rehidden before an elderly muggle on a gopher came zooming down the track, almost on two wheels around the corner and over the bridge. He wasn't stopping for anyone! It was a red gopher and they say red ones go faster. TFTC
Stopped and checked on my way past and I was surprised to find that its still in place! (sorry Ryan00, look behind?). Further hint added.
Located not so easily in the dark on our way back to Hobart after a weekend away caching in the NW. We almost gave up searching for this, crawling on our hands and knees in the freezing cold. We decided to use a lifeline and phoned a friend who soon had us looking in the right direction. TFTC

Hi Dippy
This was the second cache I started to look for in Campbell Town.
No luck the first time.
Went to look for "Ring ring" after not locating this cache on my first effort.
Returned and looked on the side that my GPS was not putting me on and bingo a find.
Sainted at 1354hrs
TFTC and a clever hide - well done
Cheers OldSaint.

We were heading south for the day to welcome our daughter back home after 10 weeks at Casey Station in Antarctica. The recently published caches in Campbell Town were a very welcome break from the drive. This cache took longer to find that it should. One problem was the seemingly never ending muggles who used the bridge. The second reason was our failure to carefully examine the construction of the bridge. Had we done so when we arrived, locating the cache may have occurred much more quickly. This cache blended very well with the structure. The cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks Dippy for five carefully planned and implemented caches in the area.
Found at the event yesterday with Whitewebbs and ZombieCats. TFTC
