Thanks for the cache sirius Tas.
Spending a few days with RLD4963 around northwest Tassie. Today we went places neither of use have been before.
Wow, how special is Nelson Bay. It was nice and quiet today, but you could see the effects of the force of the ocean all around. Fantastic. We had a great day, thanks for bringing us to this special place.
It was a nice quick find at GZ. Cache is in good condition.

"Hello sirius Tas thank you for the cache.
What a lovely bay we stopped and had lunch here, had to sit in the car as it was so windy.
the cache was easily found in good condition.
MrsD and I were up the NW on a four day weekend.
Today we went down the West Coast to Temma and I was allowed to find some caches on the way, this was one of them.

After a night camping nearby at prickly wattle we started our day off by visiting Nelson Bay. It was a stunning morning and this place looked absolutely beautiful! After admiring the views we found the cache after a short hunt and then headed up the track to Sundown Point to view the middens and carvings. TFTC!

A great team effort to find this one after a bit of scrambling about on the rocks. tftc
What a great spot. I don't think I've been here before. We waited out another rain squall then pounced! It took a bit of searching but with seven of us looking we found it. Thanks Sirius Tas

A long time since a find has been made on this one but the cache was still in excellent condition.
Unfortunately it did take us a while to locate and we are finding caching with a Garmin frustrating. That will teach me for leaving the ETrek at a cache in Launceston a few weeks ago. The old Garmin had us out to sea on an outcrop of very sharp rocks at one stage until it decided to eventually lead us to a kinder place!!!
Thanks, a top spot to visit.

Stopped by on our way north from Temma.
A quick find and probably just as well as the wind was blowing a gale. Seas pretty rough and water all the way to the edge of the beach.
Cache all good. Thanks for the cache siriusTas!

Today we explored Smithton and beyond and this was one of several caches we found. The recent bush fires have certainly left their mark but able to access the cache as the road was open to Nelson Bay but still closed 14klm from Arthur River.
A beautiful day and calm in the bay - made a quick find. Cache and contents are in good condition. Thanks Sirius a top location.

Lovely day to find a cache. All good. No-one else about today. SL & left a couple items. TFTC
It was one of those magic days on the West Coast. Clear blue sky (not a cloud to be seen), a warmish breeze, a very light swell off-shore and waves crashing onto the rocks. It was perfect conditions to return to Nelson Bay after nearly three years. Apart from a lone muggle out on the rocks, there was no-one around to inhibit our search. A combination of accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. There being no other entries in the logbook, we will claim FTF at 11:30. thanks for the cache Sirius Tas in a great part of the West Coast.
