Description

This little one is hidden behind the flood levee, behind Royal Park.

To get to this one, you will have to take a few steps up a stone wall, it isn't too difficult to climb (well, for someone my age!), but please be very careful not to lose your footing.

Please relocate in the exact same spot and do not remove any supporting rocks, it is hidden in a gap where a small rock is on top of it.

You will need to bring a pen to sign the log.

Happy caching and climbing! :) Watch out for muggles!

Logs

It's May-ntenance Month and the Geocaching Ausralia admins are reviewing caches with a string of DNF's. Unfortunately this is one of them.

We're archiving this cache as it appears to be missing. If it reappears or is replaced by the cache owner it can be activated by logging an "unarchived" against it.

Maybe this one needs to be looked at as I think it might be missing. Not found in quite a while

Out for an early morning Easter Hunt today.
Had a really good look for this one but I think it needs a quick maintenance check by the CO suspect it's gone.

We climbed the wall and poked into every hole but didn't find anything useful in the way of caches. Never mind, a lovely walk around here

11-Sep-16
Found it, but made newbie error of no writing instrument so not logged. Will go back and record at some point. Only our 3rd find and involved more scrabbling and a lot more looking under loose rocks than we'd anticipated! Fun though! TFTC

easy find, but had to use clue I am ashamed to say, but once read clue it stood out like...well you know what. TFTC

#GA897 - 20:00; Back in Tassie on family business, so the opportunity to collect a few more of the local caches was too good to pass up. It was the last night in town, so made it out for a final run to collect a few more on my 'to do' list for this trip. I managed a quick find on my second visit after using the PAF option to realise I had been on the wrong side for my visit a half an hour or so earlier. Once I was in the right spot, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC Ryan00 Very HappyClan Cerberus

quick find on a wild and windy evening. A few muggles around doing some sort of aerobics but they didn't notice me at all.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.

Today we ducked into Launceston hoping that Sunday would mean less muggles around. Anxious

Dropped by this cache whilst completing a nearby multi.

Loz had a bit of a workout on the nearby exercise equipment, then showed off her rock climbing skills to retrieve this one .. thanks ..!

06-Mar-15
A quick find. Lots happening in the area but luckily it was all on the other side of the wall. Thanks

11-Jan-15
We initially checked the wrong side of the wall but realized we were still some distance away from gz so I went over the wall and after finding some glass ss per reborbs warning I grabbed the cache and returned to ground level to log. A quick scamper up again to replace anf then back over the wall again. TFTC

Not nearly as bad as I had been building myself up for.
The only muggles were on the far side of the wall, out of sight.
Be careful of broken glass in some of the cracks.
Thanks.

Waited for a couple of muggles to finish meandering up the path, then made the quick dash to find the cache neatly tucked away Cool
Thanks for the cache, Ryan00 ! Very Happy

As I'd had plenty of warm up practice today climbing a certain tree (^That way!), though with no reward, I felt I should put my finely honed skills to good use here. Positively scampered up, though I did check a couple of empty crannies before locating the right one & claiming my just rewards. Thanks Ryan00.

Today we targeted caches that have been placed whilst we have been away and this was one of them.

Mr T was elected to "climb the wall" and soon had cache in hand.

Thanks Ryan00 we found 12 of your caches today

Ah, good old GCA, I keep forgetting to check back with you for new caches. I will have to ensure I check more often. GCA is where I got my start in Geocaching after all.
This one reminded me of my old rock-climbing days! Found after remembering I had get more vertical than I usually am. Nicely hidden, co-ords were right on as well.

TFTC!

Was at the seaport and royal park today capturing munzees so I came over and checked on it. Still there all good. Clan Minotaur

I thought early morning a good time to tackle this cache. Plenty of fog, no skateboarders, just a few huddled figures hurrying through the park on their way to work.
So it panned out, although there was a downside. Up the wall, just reaching for the cache when I must have trod on a bit of ice. Shocked Very quickly down the wall! Fortunately I managed to push off and land comfortably and upright on the grass. Very glad there were no spectators. Embarassed
A very careful re-ascent soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the fun! Very HappyClan Phoenix

Hi Ryan Nice to finally put a face to you and say hello. You must remember that we are not as nimble as you. Keep up the good work. TFTC

This one took a bit longer than the last couple. Muggles making their way to the football nose to tail on the nearby road wouldn't have noticed us but had to interrupt the search a couple of times as more footy muggles were heading to the game on foot. Eventually found by mr sharnie's tribe while I called encouragement from above. TFTC

When we arrived there were many using the exercise equipment on the river side of the levee but the other side was clear of muggles. A short scramble preceded a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Ryan00.
