Description
St Johns Church, Emmagool is a quiet little spot.
If you're enjoying the drive along Obley road, it's a good place to pull over for a leg stretch and maybe a picnic morning tea. The adjacent "graveyard" for the small local schools in the surrounding coutryside is worth looking at and there is an interesting history panel in front of the Wambangalong Environmental Centre. The Wambangalang Public School was originally on this site from 1928 to 1974 and the environment centre has been operating here since 1977. And of course "Weevil Knievel" on a bike from the Obley Art project is always worth a snapshot!

What a lovely spot to stop. Love the sculpture. I almost didn't find this as I think time has pushed this further into its hidey hole. All good here and the container is nice and dry.
Pa very nicely positioned the car so that the muggle working in the yard couldn't see me. Cache was completely destroyed so I replaced it and the log. TFTC Blossom. SL

Cache was in hidey hole but all broken so Smittengranny replaced cache and log. Signed new log.
We found this one after a search lying on the ground and replaced were we thought it should be
Would have helped to check the right tree, only to find it out in the wide open. placed it back safely beside its guardian. container fragile needs replacing its breaking.
Working the late night shopping shift, so took a nice morning drive to Emmagool. It was so peaceful out there. I love checking out old pioneer cemeteries but I couldn't find this one. Found the geocache easily though
Took frog, left some little blue skull beads.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
It is nice to see some GCA caches out and about. Thanks.

Found with Albida while heading to Stanthorpe for the Mega. No problems and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks for the cache Blossom and the reason to stop.

I was cruising the road from Obley - de - Obley - dah, life goes on, to Dubbo (Named after the fifth Royal Viceroy of the kingdom of Dubbovania in the now defunct country of Yugoslavia, if I am not mistaken
Then again, I could be very mistaken
Here at Emmagool, or as the kids like to call it ... Wambangalang !!
I soon tracked down this cache hide
All good !!

Today we did a 400klm circuit from Dubbo caching and sightseeing and this was one of the caches we found. We enjoyed travelling the back roads and seeing the roadside sculptures along the way.
Finding a blank log sheet we will claim a FTF - a bonus we never expected so far away from home. TFTC blossom*
