ah well a long time ago I looked for something up here. I assumed it was this. today I spotted it from a distance.

20-May-22
Such a long time since this one has had a find but it was still in great condition in its hiding place.
It was quickly spotted but took a while to retrieve as there was a muggle parked next to it eating his lunch.
Great views from here but was surprised that you have to pay to park here - which we did not!!
Thanks.

We found this cache surprisingly quickly despite no hint. TFTC

About to give up on 3rd visit when getting dark. Turned around and found it. In good condition.

05-Feb-19
Great view of Hobart, unfortunately it was very overcast and dark, with low cloud / smoke. We did also get a few drops of rain. Cache was in good order.
Thanks OldSaint

Finding caches around the Domain before we head back to Lonnie and this was one we found. As obvious as GZ was we had to circle several times before we got our hands on this one. Great views.

Hi oldsaint, thanks for the cache and thanks for the views, although kunanyi was wearing her cloud shroud today. No muggles spotted today. Had to drop off geoTeenRef at the domain athletic track for soccer ref fitness test, so decided to see what I could find nearby. Ended up with 4 GCAs (2 trads, 1 trig & 1 history) plus 1 GC after a diversion to the Kmart. Very Happy

I found this cache with mummmy and caughtatwork on our week long holiday in Hobart.

25-Dec-16
A crazy bloke was parked nearby and rushed of of his car as we approached babbling incoherently. We decide to leave and try again as he really looked like he wanted a punch on. We came back about an hour later he was gone and the cache was found easily enough as i looked straight at it. Thanks for this cache here today. Great views with the light starting to come on.

Circled the spot for around 10 minutes then bingo! Good hiding Razz

20-May-16
I made a mistake with this one and thought I was hunting a moveable. I really must pay more attention! No wonder I didn't find it!

OldSaint I am sorry for the late log but I have just released I didn't log a find on this cache last weekend.

Lovely views over Hobart.

Took me too long damn you Smile I am not kidding I was here 20 minutes or more walking round and round looking up and down and then when I did spot the cache I was like how did I miss that!

Great cache with a stunning winter view and a great way to start my weekend.

Thanks for the cache.

Finally crossed this one off our list today. A great view of the city from here. Only 3 cars in the car park. TFTC

After a very foggy morning, the Domain seemed like a nice place for a walk in what was now delightfully sunny conditions. After parking in North Hobart we travelled up via the Glebe and headed towards this cache. From there is was over the very top and down the other side on some tracks we had never been on before. A very pleasant walk.

One for Australia Day.
We have enjoyed all the great country views Old Saint takes us to and now one of the city.
Thanks for the cache.

30-Dec-14
We had visited once before, but the carpark was too busy for a proper look. This time there was only one car here (with the driver seeming to be engrossed in the newspaper), so we were able to find the cache without too much trouble between rain showers.

Cache zombified.
Quick find while listening to the MRA toy run down below. Cache in good order.

Found on a glorious spring day, with that view as well ! Cool
A quick find too, where it was expected to be Wink
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint ! Very Happy

20-Sep-14
Well, this cache was not where I expected in the least, it certainly is in a spot that will stand the test of time.

Great view of hobart on a nice day, and a place that is certainly worth the visit.

Sure Oldsaint would have taken his girl parking up here, if there were cars when he was young. Maybe it was the horse and buggy parking spot?

18-Sep-14
Found just before heading up the road to find another and before the skies opened up.
Thanks for the cache OldSaint!

02-Aug-14
Found on a clear but very cold morning in Hobart. Took some photos of snow on the mountain while we waited for a nearby car to move on then made a quick find. TFTC

28-Jul-14
An early morning find as we make our way home after coming south yesterday to catch up with our elder daughter for a belated birthday lunch. No problems with muggles as the first traces of daylight make an appearance. Even in the limited light, this was a quick find of a familiar type of hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache OldSaint. Now to get home ASAP to complete preparations for our mainland excursion.

14-Jul-14
Finally - a chance to return, and this time no car and associated dog.
A short search for the standard OldSaint hide, and I was signing the log.
Thanks for the cache and the view.

Hmmm...that's interesting. In my sister's lunch break, to save her some time, I was driving her to a couple of appointments looking at places to rent, and we had a bit of time between two. In we drove to GZ and there was a car right beside (with an occupant and a dog clad in camouflage gear) and on the other side a Postal van also with occupant. We waited a few minutes, but had to be on our way. I came back later in the day and the coast was clear. Neatly camouflaged, (like the dog), thanks OldSaint.

I (Knight #4) was logging a find from yesterday when I saw this one, not too far from home. So I got Knight #1 to come up to the Domain as I needed a driver. When we arrived there was 2 cars near GZ so we decided to go back to the car when Mr gooseandegg turned up. We had been talking for about 20 minutes before the main muggle left with his dog. In we went and within seconds I had the cache in hand. We both signed the log at 13:35. A shared *FTF* today. TFTC. Very Happy

Wow the opportunity of a FTF, we had not had a GCA FTF. As soon as lunch time came I jumped in the car and drove to GZ. My initial disappointment as seeing a couple of Knights had beaten me was short-lived when I realised the cache was between 2 occupied muggle vehicles and they were waiting to pounce. We chatted for about 20 min before the main offender finally drove off with his dog. The other vehicle was not too much of a deterrent due to its position. A quick find by Knight#4! A joint FTF with NewTownKnights at 1335. Commiserations to Reborn Cyclist, who must have been first on scene.
Thanks OldSaint for a new cache and entertaining lunchbreak.
Special thanks to Knights #1 & #4 for sharing the FTF.Very Happy

I was returning from the northern suburbs when the email popped up, and from the cache name I knew where it would be.
I was there in just a few minutes, but there was a car with occupant sitting right next to GZ.
I waited 5 minutes and then left it for another day.

09-Jul-14
Enjoy the views and the thrill of the hunt
Cheers OldSaint
