Description
There is something quite therapeutic about being near water so this cache should encourage you to go visit water whether it is the sea, a river, a lake, even a pool.
To log the cache a photo is required of someone having fun on or in the water e.g. water skiing, water polo, swimming, diving, model boats, stand up paddle boarding and the list goes on and on.The person does not have to be you.
Cachers can log multiple times as long as there's another log between entries and any activity can be logged more than once because they will all look different depending on where they are and what is happening.
This cache is not for kayaking or canoeing to a cache as there is already a locationless for that.
Photo and coords are all that is required-you dont need to get your feet wet.
Congratulations to gooseandeggs for FTF-photo is very cooling especially for me up here in Darwin.

TFTC and the dry feet.
One a work trip to the top end (Katherine) we headed off on a day off for some downtime at Mataranka Springs. A great spot I'd been to before, but it was first for a few of the guys.
Thanks for the fun (and the memories) of the locationless.
A popular hobby/sport in this neck of the woods. Viewed from a wooden deck near the carpark.
Red tag and I went for a joint FTF on a cache called 'Deman's Treasure' out of Port Arthur on a skijet. She was determined when we got back to tip me off the waterised motorbike but I will let the logs for that cache tell the story; photos as well.

Hi Crustydemons, Great adventure to get this cache. Both OldSaint and red tag got this one together and are claiming an FTF together. Thankyou!!! Red tag had the jet ski and we boarded, arrived and searched together, signing the cache at 1604hrs. For both of us, it was first time to Stinky Bay so thanks again. Got up to about 58-60mph on the way back. Then she wanted to take me for a joy ride and right in front of Annie we both came off!!! Wet, wet, wet!!! First swim in some time. Found out she can't swim (poetic licence taken) and had to drag her out!! Thanks red tag for the ride and the fun. See associated photos. TFTC and cheers OldSaint.

I couldn’t let this cache sit there ‘unfound’ any longer!
So this morning I messaged OldSaint to see if he and Annie were game enough to be my crew and luckily they were. Big Grin
I hooked on the jetski and picked them up on the way past.
At the boat ramp the conditions were perfect for boating and OldSaint and I farewelled Annie and set off for Stinky Bay.
OldSaint had never been on a jetski before and was somewhat nervous and tried to convince me the cache was in the bay I was sailing past but I think the nerves were affecting his navigational skills. Razz
We soon rounded the next headland and were in Stinky Bay. It’s a gorgeous place and not surprisingly there was another boat moored there but they were well out of our way.
We cut the engine and drifted into the pristine beach. I wasn’t content to leave the jetski on the beach so I attached the tow rope and walked it like a dog up the little canal. The water was soooo warm and inviting but we had a cache to find.... and find it we did. Big Grin
Brilliant little spot crustydemons!. Happy sharing the FTF with OldSaint as it was a team effort!
The trip back to the boat ramp was way more fun as OldSaint had really got the hang of it and we were back with Annie in just a few minutes.
Once back at the boat ramp I had that mischievous side of me raise its ugly head Twisted(I struggle to be responsible for more than half an hour at a time) and I asked OldSaint did he want to have a quicker spin around the bay - my older sons have dunked me on numerous occasions so I figured I could do that to OldSaint, but the bugger took me with him and in the drink we BOTH went - fully clothed!. Annie laughed hysterically and we ended up tying the jetski to the jetty and spending the rest of the afternoon swimming in the bay.
Icecreams on the way home topped off a great afternoon.
Thanks crustydemons for the cache and thanks Rob and Annie for a great afternoon. Big Grin
and just for the record I CAN SWIM!! just not as good as OldSaint ..but then I wasnt a Phys Ed teacher Razz and I didnt realise you cant drown someone when they are wearing a life jacket Red Face"
Thanks corunnaroad for the great memory
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.
