Description

This is our first cache hide and is located in our local area.

This is one of those "shortcuts" between streets and is well used so some stealth will be required at times, we use this walkway to get to the local shops, park and school.

Ths container is a camoflauged eclipse container and contains a pencil, log and a couple of small swaps for the juniors.

Enjoy our first hide.

Cache no longer in place, Requires checking.

Today we decided to target some caches in Launceston to get finds for the battleship games. In total we looked for 14 caches and found 12 with 2 dnfs. We had an eventful day touring through streets. Venturing to places we had never been to before.

This was one of our dnfs for the day. We searched the only place at gz but there’s definitely no cache there.
This one requires some co attention.

Went out on my first official GCA caches hunt today i have done geocaching but had yet to figure out how to use this GCA site.
Found this little guy, log has gotten wet and dried over time into an interesting shaped mess so didn’t add my scribble and was annoying the local pups so got out of there fast TFTC

#GA883 - 09:30; Back in Tassie on family business, so the opportunity to collect a few more of the local caches was too good to pass up. I had collected a couple as I made my way to this one. It was familiar territory, having attended a few parties in the general area more years ago now than I care to remember. Found a convenient park, then it was off to GZ for a quick find and sign. Not sure what the muggle walking her pooch thought I might have been up to Whistle TFTC activehunters Very HappyClan Cerberus

An early morning drive by on one of our caching days out. Took the opportunity to nab a few of the more muggle prone caches on our way out of town. Quick easy find, tftc

22-Jan-16
Next find of a few around the area. A quiet walk up here so as not to wake any dogs (if any) and with no-one around the cache was soon in hand...

Thanks again ActiveHunters

Easy find, although the eclipse tin was almost in the open. We repositioned it in the tree and hidden. No problems with prople muggles, but boy did the dof muggles let the world know I was their.

We were on a mission to hit 100 GCA finds today. After a DNF at another of the CO's hides we came here hoping for easier pickings & they certainly were as the nicely cammoed cache was in hand in a matter of moments. Thanks activehunters.
