Description
This particular cache is at a huge landmark in Launceston, another place I frequent almost daily. It used to be one massive business but now there are many small business and a self storage units.
It has public access 24/7. There is parking at the location, pretty much on top of the cache.
The container is a homemade cache consisting of 40mm plastic pipe and it has been painted to blend in with the weeds. There are swaps but no pen or pencil.

Logs
This geocache appears to be MIA so to stop it clogging the search lists we'll archive it. This is done to keep the geocaching Australia clean and up to date.
If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.

We were in the area today visiting family and decided to have a look for this cache. Mrs W had two family members who worked for many, many years at Coats Patons. It was all quiet around GZ but maybe we were being watched from across the road? I let Mr W do the searching as two people wandering on what seems like private property may look suspicious! After a lengthy search he reported he could not locate the cache, so we fear it may have gone missing.
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018.
We are currently aiming for a virtual verbosity trophy, hence the lengthy logs.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.

No joy for us. Felt like we were being watched, so probably not concentrating. Thanks anyway Activehunters. We will watch future logs with interest.
we had to make a second visit as it was busy with muggles the first time. found with stainless-steel-rat and TazScout TFTC
Out for an early morning Easter Hunt today.
Stood right by this one and looked in the wrong places before our eyes settled on the obvious. Of course the one day we are out without a repair kit the cache was full to the brim with water so we emptied it out and left behind a scout as proof but it needs a maintenance check. tftc

#GA886 - 10:40; Back in Tassie on family business, so the opportunity to collect a few more of the local caches was too good to pass up. I had collected a couple as I made my way to this one. It was familiar territory, as the geohoney once worked here at the old mill. After a bit of unnecessary climbing around, I spotted the cache and made the find. A bit of swag in the bottom of the container is helping keep the log dry, but a weep hole would work better TFTC activehunters

That was cool. Was asked by someone who appeared out of nowhere what I was doing...and then he said, "oh you're looking for the ????...sorry, I'm not going to tell you where it is." So I looked myself, and soon had the cache in hand. Log is a little wet, but all is ok.
Thanks for the cache ActiveHunters.....

TFTC taken me a few tries to find this one. Took geodaughter along today and she was able to retrieve geocache for me. Used car as a shield to cover up our activities from muggles across the road. happy to find this one and cross it off my list at last!

Had some time to spare while waiting for Cat to return from Regatta. A nice easy find, nobody about on this public holiday.. thanks..!

Located this one fairly quickly but could hear voices in the nearby building so were reluctant to go get it. Just as well we waited as we would have been caught where we probably shouldn't have been When the door opened and several Muggles left. Thanks, a nice hide.
Back in Tassie for a quick visit finding caches that have been published since our last visit and this was one of them. TFTC
Got it on the second attempt with torch in the dark. Very creative hide.

Another day, another .... Not quite an "easy find" though; in fact we'd certainly have to dispute the T1.0 rating. It's not quite what we'd term wheelchair accessible as we had to perform the odd bodily contortion, but we did manage to "find it".
No success for us here today. On a dampish Sunday afternoon we can't even blame muggle activity as it was as dead as a dodo. We quickly spotted what we thought was the cache but it turned out to be a stack of old plastic tubs. Then we read the description so we knew what to look for but still couldn't find it. The GPS'r didn't really help us decide which side to poke about either so we "prayed" on both sides but our prayers went unanswered.
GZ was deserted when we arrived which made the search easier. Have been into this facility at the other end of the building but had never been round this way before. Great container. TFTC
This very well constructed and hidden cache took a few minutes to find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Hi activehunters
At first I hesitated as I approached this cache as I thought it may be on private property but proceeded any way.
Found the cache quickly Sainting it at 1132hrs. Got muggled by a guy with the keys to the building but he didn't say anything to me as I was taking photographs as he entered the building.
TFTC and cheers
