Description
There will be no Movable Cache Race this year due to all the valid reasons listed by caughtatwork in the link below.
We have therefore decided to publish a small series of Movable Caches to pay tribute to caughtatwork, CraigRat and all the Teams who support and participate in the Geocaching Australia format and family.
Thank you all.
Cheers & Merry Christmas

This geocache appears to be no longer at this location so to avoid it showing up in the search lists, we'll archive this one. If the geocache owner can confirm it's in place it can be reactivated by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.
Just had a look with teamashy to see if this was still there but couldn't find it. It may have been picked up but not logged.
Found in the hands of thomo31 as Mrs passed through Echuca on her way south.
A group of trackables on their way to Victoria with thomo31. This one slippe3d through the net. SL Tnx Team Ladava
This one keeps coming back, found it again today, but it will go away a very long way soon.

At the end of the event this was one of the moveables I ended up with. Next it to find a place to hide it for the next finder. As the game ends they may be further apart between finds. Thanks for the moveable which was one of 101 that made their way to Ebenezer. Good luck on any further moves
The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....
Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...

Called into Tizzana Winery to buy some wine and saw the moveables and the list. The family wanted to continue on so said "Hi" to a few we'd previously met then headed on with some wine. Diolch for the moveable. I didn't pick up any.

Attended the 'Australia Day Moveable Event 2018' and came face to face with other like minded cachers, one being another lucky (luckyl10n) and 101 moveables in the area. Many thanks to the CO's who have published them over time and others who bought them together for the event.

Found this one at the Australia Day Moveable Event 2018 event held at Tizzana Winery in Ebenezer. Another fantastic turnout at the event run for the current 2018/19 Journey or Destination game being run on Geocaching Australia which saw a total of 101 moveables come together. Thanks for sharing.

Picked Up
After contacting the person who placed it last, MrT and I headed back to GZ again armed with MrTs good GPS. With his finger still in a splint we looked around in the same area as last time as not able to do too much scrambling. While poking a rock with my hiking pole I spotted some plastic. On further inspection we discovered a bag behind the rock. Found what we were looking for. A little damp and dirty but the log is dry. Will clean it up then take it to a new place soon.

MrT with his broken finger has been doing walks in the vicinity of home. I had noticed this moveable was only a stone's throw away, so we drove to to the oval and headed to the coords. We had looked in the gallery so we know what we were looking for. With a GPS and phone app we both searched all around to about 10m from coords but turned up nothing. After half an hour of searching I called it quits. MrT then headed along the bush to home and I went birdwatching.

Sorry it has taken so long to move on, I found it during the week in the back of the cupboard where it must have fallen out of my cache kit.
The 'Blue Ace' is ready to fly again.
The oval can be very busy but the hiding place is sufficiently out of sight.

found in the rain in Rookwood Cemetary will move on soon. Thanks Team Ladava for the moveable

Took it down to Rookwood this morning, where I am sure it will move on quickly.
Went down here after work in the hope of a couple of finds, though one of the moveables had already gone. Still this was fairly quickly found once I got on the right track. Left a gnome in it's place and will move on soon. Thanks Team Ladava.
Birds galore for a plane to fit right in here at the bridge across Flat Rock Creak in Artarmon. A nice short walk from the reserve or station.
Wait you are not a Gnome! Zal was meant to bring me gnomes... OK I suppose you can stay too... for the moment until we can find you a new home.

The first prisoner exchange took place at Tron's this afternoon with 4 Gnomes and 2 sympathisers entering the negotiation. Blue Ace came north with me at the end of it.

'Bucking' Blue Ace in now resting for a while in scenic Clwydd . . .
A local moveable expert will attend to him . . .
It's a very, very rainy day up here in the Blue Mountains.
Not the best day to be out geocaching!

At the given co-ordinates in Lennox Park we actually found GA5087 TBR5-RC. Something amiss perhaps...................
I have moved this to Blaxland in the hope that at tomorrow's event, someone will pick it up and move it along.

I have moved this to a location close to another moveable at the pedestrian crossing of the railway between Spring wood and Faulconbridge. This one is in the last tree in the row as you head toward Springwood. My original attempt to log this saw the coords show it a long way away. I got these coords by replotting on google maps. I'll check it again on my way to work tomorrow. But if you are coming for this, then follow the line of trees from the other one. I'll attach a pic.
I had no intention of taking this one, but I was being watched by some teenage skateboarders in the car park and thought the moveable would be nicked. So I will have a look at where it has been and have a think about where it could go. I'm going to Cairns this weekend! Thoughts CO?

Done, move with a mate down the mountains, two for the price of one!
What do I have to do to get you out of here, I know a train trip down the mountain.

GCA 1110 - 10893. Found in the hands of Sol de Lune.
Nice to grab such a selection of moveables in one hit. Glad to see these still moving around.
TFTC !!
I find that the moveables are a great addition to geocaching. The fun of chasing them around - sometimes finding them in place - sometimes not - puts a bit more interest on the Geocaching Australia side of things. These games also tend to boost the numbers of moveables around - especially in December and January - perfect time to spend a bit more time caching away in Summer and / or holidays. My favourites tend to be the Gnomes - memories of a misspent childhood come to mind.... Lol.

Found this cache (discovered and not moved) today at a cold and wet pathtags/trackables event in Brimbank park - I think the caches might have outnumbered the cachers!

I mosied on down here to drop off another moveable as I figured this might be a little lonely otherwise. A nice quick find at 17:45 in a quite familiar location.
I left it where I found it for those who follow to move as they see fit.
TNLNSL. Thanks Team Ladava.
