Description
A traditional GCA cache to entice you up to the nearby (Mt Reedy) trig. Not that it's an easy walk.......as the trail gets a bit steep as you go up, but once there, another trig find awaits you. Now.....when I say a trig, I really mean just a name plate and a bolt in the concrete.....but it's still listed as a trig........so a trig is a trig is a trig. The walk up isn't really that bad.....just don't expect to do it in 10 minutes (it took me about 30 minutes when I did it in January 2013). It is a trig on hill top after all.....
As for this cache....well, you will walk along the flat section....about 200 metres from the start of the trail...and will find the cache in a tree stump just before you start the climb to the trig. Nothing hard about this part!!!
Enjoy the short walk.......and I hope you go further up the hill.

Smittengranny and I, out and about getting caches for the summer game and decide to head out Sutton Road way and pick those up. Quick find and in good condition. Lovely being in the bush again.

We were pleased to see that this one was not too far off the track. After a careful search of the area making sure we were not about to disturb any sleeping creepy crawly or step on any unsuspecting wriggly we were able to locate the cache container and remove it from its hide.
Container and contents were in good condition. After signing we again checked the hide before replacing the box and covering it. It was then of to Aluminium, the last of the traditional hide in this set of elements.
Thanks Sol de Lune for this cache.
So close to yet another daunting looking hill climb. I think I'll drive in and "camp" when I do the Roo series... - oh and the afore mentioned Trig !!

Oh well, an easy find, and I note the reference to the blue container in the caches further up the road
