Description

Another easy park and grab for travellers heading in any direction.     Again, not an extremely busy area, but do watch out for other traffic.

As for the containers, they were on special (50 cents each) and, along with the blue ones, must have been an idea that didn't go to well as I haven't seen them for sale anywhere else since.

Of course I couldn't give up, my weekend off for any other reason than Geocaching. With four Geo-events at Canberra and a bonus friend’s party Saturday night meant that is where I'm headed. It was a great weekend full of fun, dancing, catching up with friends and finding many Geocaches along my travels. This was one of the caches or events, I found (or DNF) or attended at some point over the weekend. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found, for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. Big Grin TFTC's and TFTE's! Big Grin

I knew this one was hiding here, so on my way past to today's third geo-event in Sutton I made the stop and find. Thanks Very Happy

do not blindly reach your hand into this area....I say to myself AFTER I retrieve the cache and have a massive huntsman crawl on my jacket. crap Smile it was on the bottom of the cache..I pick up the cache..feel something moving..flick it..it lands on my jacket and then I flick it onto the ground..last seen walking away from the crazy human who moved its house. TFTC.

Found the cache easily. Replaced as found. TFTC

Last one out here - going for GCA caches, CBF with the GC caches nearby, one day.. another day I guess..

Anyhow, easily found. Love the colouring, shame there isn't more like this - I suspect they might hold up better against UV damage (rather, the seals within might do)..

TFTC SDL!

As we continued south we stopped to look for this cache. The guardian spiders had filled the clips with tightly wover webbs so after we had signed the log we cleaned the clips so that the lid closed tightly.

Thanks for the cache Sol de Lune and for an opportunity to get off the highway

Found 19:15. I was headed on the way home for the weekend. I was looking for a nearby GC as well so figured I might as well grab this as part of the winter challenge. Signed the log and replaced. I was though annoyed by how many cars kept coming past it was rather busy for the time of day.

Decided on a long day of caching in the ACT. and left home 3 am. Had a great day with 2 events involved as well. Lots of find and (unusually) lots of dnf's as well. Met some great people and the weather was at least dry today. Finally home and exhausted by 8 pm. Thanks for putting out this cache!

Found on our trip to Ettalong Beach for the weekend. Saw all of your new GCA caches published a few weeks ago and thought that the ideas for the caches were very clever – nicely done! A short drive from DNF #3 to here, for a very quick find. As for the first cache in the miniseries – we’ll hopefully get that one on the way back from Ettalong Beach. TNLNSL. TFTC SdL!

On the ay to Sydney to see a Cirque show, I allowed enough time to get the new GA caches along the way. Apart from a u-turn, this was a nice simple drive by. Thanks.

#GA262 - 16:25; This was the first of seven on an afternoon run. I was planning to leave these ones until January to get me up to my 15 for the month, but what the heck, they are new and they are there to be logged, so I did a loop from Gungahlin to Sutton, along Sutton Road to Jerrabomberra and on to Hume and home again via Black Mountain. Picked up a nice mix of caches, including a couple on the 'to do' list from Jerrabomberra which were missed on previous visits. I overshot the runway on this one to start, but quickly doubled back to make the find. Grabbed a nice pathtag left by the CO or a previous finder? TFTC Sol de lune Very Happy

Another FTF - yippee! Cache picked up and I headed off towards Sutton to pick up some caches that have been on my list for a while. So nice to be out on the road rather than at work behind a computer. Thanks again Sol Smile
