Description
The OC cemetery is surprisingly well kept.
There is a real mixture of graves and headstones here and you can see that the cemetery has been restored and is well cared for. There are both very old and new headstones to examine. I was surprised to see quite modern, recent headstones alongside those from over a century ago. Some of the older graves are of members of the Brand family, who have a long history associated with the nearby Overland Corner Hotel. Very sad to see the grave of young Lucy Brand, who passed away as a child. It's worth having a wander around the site. The cache itself is located outside of the cemetery boundary fence.

A nice easy find at a peaceful location.
We were on our way back to Adelaide, stopping for only a few select caches along the way. We left a pathtag for the next finder to claim.
Thanks crane2.

On our way to Port Wakefield we made a short detour to find the two caches at Overland Corner. We had not been to this place before and were interested to find the cemetery was such a mixture of very old graves as well as very recent ones.
The hide was located quickly and the cache found in good condition.
Thanks for the cache Crane2 we enjoyed our visit to this spot.

While passing by here today I took the time to stop and find a cache
Also spent a while wandering the cemetery looking to see if there were any names I recognised as I am told that I had relatives that used to live in Overland Corner at the turn of the century
Cheers & TFTC Crane2

Found It!
Another quick find. Interesting spot. I saw some graves back in the middle of town to - I assume they died before this cemetery was started?

Heading today from Loxton to Burra and stopped by to grab the couple of GCA caches in the area....
Had a walk around the cemetery before heading to GZ where the cache was soon in hand. Good to see the cemetery is still in use.

Another historic little cemetery containing the remains of some of our pioneers who struggled to make a living in what must have been very harsh conditions.
Many thanks for bringing us here crane2

WA2016 caching and Dive trip. Day 2. A very lonely place to be left for eternity.

Can claim the 3rdTF on this one behind fellow Tassie cachers Sharnie's Tribe. A small but very neat and tidy cemetery. The tank at the turnoff to GZ looks like it could seriously be in trouble soon though. Thanks.
A quick find when we got to GZ, second team to sign the logbook. A long way to come from Tassie to try for a FTF only to miss out by one day! We're travelling in this area of the country for a couple of weeks so decided to try for this cache to try and keep it green. TFTC
Lucky enough to be FTF after travelling a few 100kms from home. An interesting place
