Description
A green spot in the Riverland.
A green dragon lives in this region. She is proud of her Clan Phoenix heritage, but also belongs to the green House of Gamma at the local institute of learning, LHS. Thus being doubly green she wishes the Riverland to remain green. Those of you, who come to seek her treasures are most welcome if you also be of the green clan, but beware if you are of another clan for she regularly takes to the skies to watch for marauders and raiders. If you are new to the land of Dragons and have not yet sworn your allegiance to a clan choose wisely and help to keep the Riverland green!

Found this cache on the way from Renmark to Millicent for the Mega. We wanted one of these caches for the LGA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark Smile
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

After a disappointing start to the Green Realm series, it was nice to be rewarded with an easy find at this one.
We were so happy we left a pathtag for the next finder, or the cache owner, if she wan't it!
Once again, this cache should have had more Phoenix dZ points allocated by the cache owner at the time of publishing. Don't take this as a complaint though, I'm about to convert this cache from Cerberus blue, to a lovely shade of Minotaur orange.
Thanks crane2.

Found on the SA leg of our 2017 escape trip.
A perfect Spring day for a drive around more Wandering Heroes near Loxton with Tassie Trekkers.
Not many muggles around here today, and mostly good quick finds.
Thanks for the cache Crane2,
Roostaman

#GA1429 - 13:20; Day 3 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune. We are now headed from Mildura across the border into the Riverland and our final destination of Barmera after caching around Renmark, Berri and Loxton. This series was on our 'to do' list for this trip almost since the planning started and it was nice to get here today. Managed 9 finds from 10 caches, with only #3 not signed. Apologies for the generic logs and TFTC crane2
On the way to Alice Springs and Darwin with LuckyL10n and came through Loxton for this series.
This was the second in the series and no problems with this one either and our names were soon on the log book.
Thanks Crane2.....great to have a little GCA power trail in the area.

Sorry for the generic logs but a dirt road in SA with a bunch of caches is a pretty common occurrence. Thankfully this was a very well done series with good containers and good logbooks.
Well done and thank you for the series CRANE2

Adelaide September 2015 trip. Wow, a GCA powertrail ! It is great to see more GCA caches and this series was a great way to get some more out in this high density part of SA.
Thanks

A short search soon located this cache tucked away snuggly. The cache and contents were in excellent condition. Thanks for another good hide crane2. Another cache in the hands of the orange clan.
