Description

Green shall reign in The Riverland!

A green dragon lives in this region. She is proud of her Clan Phoenix heritage, but also belongs to the green House of Gamma at the local institute of learning, LHS. Thus being doubly green she wishes the Riverland to remain green. Those of you, who come to seek her treasures are most welcome if you also be of the green clan, but beware if you are of another clan for she regularly takes to the skies to watch for marauders and raiders. If you are new to the land of Dragons and have not yet sworn your allegiance to a clan choose wisely and help to keep the Riverland green!

No luck for us here today

We popped in to the Berri Cheap As Chips store this morning and purchased a new tool for our caching bag; A pair of long handled tongs!

After eating lunch by the riverside, we then set off back to this cache to retrieve it. I parked the Navara strategically and used the rear step to get to the correct height, and the tongs worked perfectly in raising the container back to the top. We added our name the logbook, and decided not to replace it where we found it.

The cache is now at ground level, behind the tree. This one really needs some wire or string to allow it to be retrieved properly from the original location.

Thanks crane2.

Locating the cache was simple. Extracting the cache was nigh on impossible. All I managed to do was knock it further down the hole of doom. We had no choice but to move along without entering our name in the logbook.

To be continued.... Very Happy

Not many muggles around here today, and mostly good quick finds.
Thanks for the cache Crane2,

#GA1431 - 13:37; Day 3 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune. We are now headed from Mildura across the border into the Riverland and our final destination of Barmera after caching around Renmark, Berri and Loxton. This series was on our 'to do' list for this trip almost since the planning started and it was nice to get here today. Managed 9 finds from 10 caches, with only #3 not signed. Apologies for the generic logs and TFTC crane2 Very HappyClan Cerberus

Sorry for the generic logs but a dirt road in SA with a bunch of caches is a pretty common occurrence. Thankfully this was a very well done series with good containers and good logbooks.

Well done and thank you for the series CRANE2

Adelaide September 2015 trip. Wow, a GCA powertrail ! It is great to see more GCA caches and this series was a great way to get some more out in this high density part of SA.

Thanks
