Roundabout on Parkes Street and Bathurst Road in Katoomba, feature an antique street light on a pedestal and garden.

Spotted this roundabout with nice flowering bushes in Bellerive. If they get too big they may impede your view. TFTL Using for the Cacheopoly games

This roundabout is at the junction of Channel Highway and Hutchins Street, in Kingston, Tasmania. It has a yinyang symbol with exposed aggregate concrete on one side and protuding boulders on the other.

When I was in Noumea on a cruise in November 2017, I logged an earthcache that had a 2m high piece of nickel laterite, surrounded by a tropical garden, sitting in the middle of a roundabout. You can't see the rock in the attached picture but at least you get an idea of the garden surrounds. I'll also attach a picture of the rock.

Thanks for this locationless corrunnaroad ... I had to find a locationless starting with an R to help me qualify for a Spell April in April (Coronavirus Edition) challenge set by Cybergam V, and this one struck a chord with me.

Doing some caching in the Ballarat area and spotted this pretty roundabout in the Botanical Gardens. The gardens are looking lovely with all the autumn colours. TFTC

This is the roundabout at the intersection of Pakenham and Hare streets in Echuca. It's just 50m from the front door of my shop and it often clogged with traffic turning into the main shopping block.

This round about intersects with Wattle Ave/Edwards Rd/John St.

It has had a number of changes over the years.

At the moment it is know drought tolerant with rocks, pebbles and a large Black Boy as a central feature.

This roundabout is at the intersection of Suttor Road, Argyle Street and Robertson Road - the latter two being known as the Illawarra Highway, at Moss Vale, NSW. There was a few accidents at this intersection, I remember back in the 1980s a truck ran into the bedroom of the house opposite and pushed the bed across the room. I am not sure if the occupants of the house were in bed or elsewhere at the time, but they were okay whatever the circumstances. Since the roundabout was built here there have been no further accidents. There was a car sales yard on the south-eastern corner on and off for many years. It has been gone for a number of years and McDonalds is currently building a drive-thru restaurant on that corner due to open in December 2015. It has been rumored the roundabout will be demolished to make way for traffic lights.

This roundabout is in Main Rd, Huonville, Tasmania.
Interesting as it has a 'flagpole' in its centre, brick wall and is generally planted out with flowers.
Further, cars travelling too fast down Main Rd have a habit of bouncing of the brick wall and stopping some 50-100m away from where it hit the wall. Please note the dark marks on the brick wall where the last one did this!!!!

This roundabout is known as the Forrestfield Gumnuts, there are two others much the same in Maida Vale and Kalamunda.
Quite often it can be seen full of soap suds when the locals get up to mischief.

This roundabout is brand new and is still not quite finished. There is a anchor point in the centre of this construction to hold our town Christmas Tree and this will be special when it is all lit up at that time of the year.

This rather large roundabout is located at the very busy intersection of River Road and Kingaroy Street Kingaroy in the South Burnett Qld. There are plantings and trees in the middle of this feature.

Leura Public School Roundabout
Mount Hay Road and Britain Avenue
Leura, NSW

The monthly 'market' is held near here, at the school.

You can access the area quite handily from Leura, via a footbridge across the GWH.

Mount Hay Road is rated one of the worst roads in NSW. However, it leads to beautiful Mount Haye.

(I almost have several geocaches placed near here.)

Just beyond the roundabout, beyond the trees, there's a great view of Kings Tableland and the Jamison Valley.

Beautiful Landscaped Roundabout at Leura, NSW

This roundabout is right above the Great Western Highway. It's a huge circular space planted with trees and flowers.

We drive past it nearly every day when we come home to Leura from Katoomba.

It's incredibly useful as well as being very good looking!



You can see the 'roundabout sign' in the distance, in the centre background.

We were driving through Warracknabeal when we came across two very prominent roundabouts. The one chosen for this locationless shows a tray of a dray with bags of wheat and a dog sitting on top. Two photos have been added to the Gallery: the first shows a long range view of the roundabout with Mrs y'stassie sitting on the tray; and a closer view of the centre piece of the roundabout. Does a roundabout have to be round? This roundabout is known as the peanut or jellybean roundabout due to its shape but it has 4 exits like most roundabouts. It is in Launceston near the beautiful City Park

I took this photo of the Railway Roundabout in Hobart from the Fountainside Hotel. The Railway Roundabout was constructed in the 1960s to help facilitate traffic on the newly-built Brooker Highway. Named for the former Hobart Railway Station, since the 1960s it remains one of the busiest road thoroughfares in Hobart, seeing inwards and outwards traffic from the Eastern Shore. Inside the roundabout is situated a fountain, dedicated to the past and present Lord Mayors of Hobart.

Roundabout in Houlgate, France...

Stayed in Houlgate last year while visiting Normandy and attending the World Equestrian Games (WEG) and we drove through this roundabout everyday on the drive to Caen where WEG was being held.

Decorated for the games......and it looked good.
