Description

No mystery to this, I just liked the sound of it.

Machen's reserve is a quiet little park that you can have a pleasant walk through. There are a number of tracks through the trees that you would't know were there until you go looking for the caches that are also hidden in here. This one should be easy to find, it is one of my custom containers that blends in but is quite obvious once you spot it. It is alongside one of these hidden trails, so you don't have to treck through the trees to find it, you just need to find the trail. Contents are a logbook and pencil, along with some swaps. Happy hunting!

Ooh, what a neat cache. Good to see it has survived and all is ok. Easy to spot as I approached an once signed, so I covered it a little more to ensure it stays 'concealed'.

Thanks again Ghostwoowalks....

A nice stroll to this one through a park we have cached in before. It's great to see a gca cache where such an effort has been made. Signed this one after felix11, one of the few big number mainland cachers who support the gca caches. Thanks.

Out on a full days caching run. Managed to fit this one in.

Only had to dodge lawn mowing muggles.

Mysterious indeed.

Mysterious indeed. This would be the 4th cache we've found in this park & each one has been on a separate visit. Loved the hide but it's been a while since we've come across what we used to call "M&B tins". Once again some elbow grease was required to open but all was good inside. Thanks for something a little out of the ordinary Ghosthoowalks.

Hi Ghosthoowalks
A good hide and was able to sign the log after getting the lid open!
Sainted in the company of Budgietas and sons O & E
I've lost count of the number of caches I've found in this park, but it's always enjoyable walking here.
Sainted the cache at 1312hrs after purchasing a new pair of shoes and socks at Rivers to get my wet ones off and warm up that with which I hold myself to the earth.
Aren't warm feet more BEARABLE!!
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

#GA517 - 17:50; In Tassie on a flying visit. I had to drop a card off at the in-laws nearby, so stopped off to make a find on this cache seeing I was so close by. It had been quite wet throughout the day, but fortunately it wasn't boggy underfoot. Pleased to bag a *2TF* as well. TFTC Ghosthoowalks Very HappyClan Cerberus

It has been some time since we were last in this area. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden and innovative cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. There being no other entries in the logbook, we will claim FTF at 13:50. Thanks ghostwhowalks for the hide.
