Description
The Old Victoria Rail Bridge.
Not used now and the area under the bridge is being rehabilated, however you can walk through the area....and up to the GZ for the cache. Of course the word UP is the important word here. Once up there, watch your head and you'll find the cache behind the middle beam.
Parking at S26 12.363 E152 40.516 will see you just 65 metres from your goal. Just walk around the gate/fence and head up to make your find.
Pleas ensure the cache is replaced in a way so it can't be seen from below - thanks.

Sol de Lune I found your cache Victoria Bridge on 9 Oct 2023 at 4:26 pm. This is my find 122 and find # 9 today. No problems locating the cache with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
#GA5640 - 15:40; Day seventeen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Left Bundaberg this morning heading for Caboolture, collecting caches along the way to add some more dragonZones and counties to the collection. After numerous stops along the way, we reached Gympie. This was a solo find for me while the CO looked on, not confident that the cache was still in place after recent floods. Fought my way to GZ through the undergrowth and found the well hidden cache still in place and in good condition. Happy days! TFTC Sol de lune

Out with NyssaFlutterby and Wombles&Co today up this way to find some specific caches, as well as perhaps the extra one or two along the way. This one was one of the day's goals, and we admired the bridge upon arrival. We also may have groaned about the long grass, and I added extra groaning in about the hill as my legs were still stiff, suffering from a mountain two days prior. But in and up we went and scratched around. With no cache here, Nyssa replaced it with the same container with the COs permission. Then back down that slope we plodded/clambered.
Thanks for bringing us here Sol De Lune

Up in Gympie with 1Minniemoo and Nyssaflutterby, searching for both Gc and GCA caches.
We looked for the old container but couldn't locate it, NF had contacted the Co and so we replaced it with his consent.
Nice scramble up here, glad no trains came while we were up there.

Out and about with 1MinnieMoo and wombles today for a fun adventure around the Gympie area.
We had just made an exciting GA archived find and now continued on to this cache.
After reading the previous log that it might be missing we came prepared with a spare container. Which proved to be a wise decision as we too could not locate the cache where the hint suggested So with the COs permission we have replaced the container. All good with this one again!
Thanks for bringing us to this interesting location and for the smiley Sol de lune

I popped by GZ today to explore this wonderful bit of engineering
A scratchy scramble up the slope got me to the right spot
But I fear the cache has gone AWOL !!
I couldn't find a trace of a cache where the clue said !!
Or anywhere nearby

Parked at gate and made my way through the fence then up the steep bak towards GZ. Lucky I left the container in place when I discovered the writing stick would not work so as it was only a short walk back to the car I started down the bank then tripped on something in the long grass and slid down to the level ground on my backside. No harm done except this little trip agitated my bung knee. Will be back in Gympie in a few weeks with a writing stick that will function.

These are the cords that worked for me today.
FTF @ 1145
A relatively easy find, the grass up hill was a bit slippery due to the light showers.
This is the 2nd GCA cache in the Gympie area. I hope this one has a few more finds than the other one, with only the FTF 3 years ago.
