Description

Taking a scenic route back to the geo-Camry after finding WanderAus' nearby cache, I came across this rock and decided that it needed a cache of its own. I spent a little while sitting on the rock listening to the birds and taking in the view of the wispy mist meandering around the valley on this mild winter's afternoon. A lovely peaceful place to be. I hope other cachers enjoy it as much as I did.

You are looking for a 200ml Sistema.

Just noticed this cache a little further south than I was planning to go today but decided to look for it anyway. The container and log are both in good condition - better than the weather today - low cloud and misting rain everywhere. Thanks to Firnsy for this cache.

We chose this cache to find due the location in the bush. Our 3 kids loved the bush bashing and once we found the rock our eldest son enjoyed climbing it to get the cache. Unfortunately forgot the pen but took a photo of the logbook and the kids. Was a very cold day and everything very wet but could hear the brook flowing and enjoyed the drive to the spot looking at all the kangaroos. Dancing

I got to park 240 metres from the cache. Raining today, but not when I wandered to the location. Nice big rock, and fantastic view across the valley.

So glad I came here today to clear the cache and experience nature. ClappingDancingSmileVery Happy

A nice walk in with not too much bush bashing to get to GZ. I was able to reach the cache easily enough and kyzabra and I added our name to the logbook. A great spot here! Cheers Firnsy

Jinta29 and I ventured out today to grab some caches.
We had a number of GC and GCA caches on the radar and this was one.
So after the WAN AUS cache nearby we made our way over here. Being Unfound for 2 years and reading the previous logs, and knowing the CO quite well, we were prepared for the worse.
Well we were wrong.
A nice stroll, little bush bash and step up to GZ.
Nice one firnsy. All is good here.

Thanks for placing this cache. We found it fine and replaced it as found.

Almost made it here... just thought more info for cachers who might be looking... terrain is not super difficuly but the area is overgrown and hard to reach. We made it to about 80m from GZ but decided against moving through the scrub finding ticks here and there. Cache is probably there and we will go back soon. My advice, come prepared, hiking shoes, repellant, stick of some sort and gaiters perhaps. Maybe more approachable in winter with less creepy crawlies. Top destination though we were just umprepared.

Recommend grab cache from ground rather than from atop rock, especially if you're alone (safety). Basic rock climbing skill required. Perhaps (hindsight) next person find some smaller rocks to cover/hide container? Look out for wildlife, I came close to stepping on two lizards. Nice spot, TFTC!! ClappingCool

Took a diversion from going to help my daughter to come and find this cache. Found around 11.20 am.

Thanks firnsy for the cache.
