The lovely purple dragon is in a new home.tftc fluffyfish
Out with Sambucca Sam to move some moveables and this little fellow was first on the list.
Just as we were about to leave the car the boys in blue rolled up to see what we were up to. Geocaching of course! A referral to the gc.com website to watch the 75 second video was sufficient explanation for them. One of them commented on the less than pleasant weather conditions of the day to which I replied that if you don't get wet muddy n pick up a tick or two, then we haven't had fun! They must have thought we were mad and didn't want to make any more work for themselves so they wished us well and drove off.
With them out of the way Sam and I could get down to business and find this moveable. It was sitting out of its hide on the ground waiting for us and was a bit muddy. We trotted back to the car and gave it a quick bath in one of the puddles before taking it to its new hide.
Its now snug and safe in its new location waiting for visitors.
Thanks for putting him out there Fluffyfish.

Sambuccasam and Echocage1 out and about collecting moveables in my district. A police car followed us down to where we stopped to grab this movable and wanted to know what we were doing there. While I was moving my car out of a puddle to get to the rear door Echocage1 explained what we were doing. Good thing went and collected this one because it had been dug out if it's hide and was on the ground. Tftc fluffyfish

Moved today to a new public space area that has just opened up. Little bit of bush land to keep the dragon happy in his new cave.

Dragon Griffin is now sleeping in a great Dragon's Lair in a conservation park. Rocks abound in here and there is a cave near the bottom of the valley if you go for a walk in here. A hidden oasis in the middle of suburbia. TFTC Fluffyfish
Found this morning. Thanks for the support for my zone. Team Phoenix.

Went looking for some "fiddle sticks" but had no luck so I dropped off two moveable so hopefully the next geocacher can have a "find" even if they have no luck with "fiddle sticks" like me.
Up in the North East today chasing a FTF and I saw that these two moveables were close by so I stopped on my back from an unsuccessful hunt at Garibaldi Settlement. Two moveables at one stop a bonus for me. Now I must hurry home to work or I will be late.
On a bridge near Pioneer and 2 other caches.
Dropped off at the event at Bells Parade. TFTC
Found at the Latrobe Event...many thanks Fluffyfish.
It needs an unarchive log by the CO...as certainly alive and well...cheers ST.

A quick find close to home. Grrrrr Griffin!!! Should be Phoenix as it's got the green shading on the wings, very cute even with only three legs. Will move on asap. TFTC
Moved close to a local Phoenix clan member
We were heading towards George Town via the Exeter Highway in the hope of a FTF and found ourselves 8km from this cache and another. Decided to detour to look for these as as finding them only involved an 800m walk from the parking spot we have used previously to walk from Swan Bay to Paper beach. Always a pretty walk no matter what time of the year or what type of weather. Today it was bright sunshine and a lovely, peaceful walk with the water lapping along the shoreline. No walking muggles at this time of day.
When we reached GZ accurate coordinates lead us to the hide where we found a dejected one winged, 3 legged beast beast hiding under a large piece of bark. After poking around in the wood dust we located the missing wing but no luck with the leg. Guess DZ Griffin will remain a little wonky. We will endeavor to glue the wing in place before letting him loose. We also have his mate DZ Minotaur so he will have a little company for at least a day.
This one is well worth unarchiving.

This dragon is back out and awaiting de-archiving! Sorry we had him so long. He had an issue with a wing and a leg so he went into the repair queue. The wing has been pinned, but is still too loose. I was hoping to sort out a new leg but ran out of time. He's now released with a swivelly wing and three legs, but he's a free dragon!
Premature archiving! We still have the dragon. Re-hiding has been delayed as we put the dragon aside for repair due to a broken wing and missing back leg. The wing appeared to have been previously broken and glued. It has now been pinned but we haven't come up with a solution to the leg. Didn't realise it had been six months so we'll re-hide a three legged dragon!
This moveable seems to have been found and removed in Aug 17, however to date it has not been relocated.
As this is now over 6 months ago, the chances of the cache being relocated might be minimal. To keep the Geocaching Australia database clean and up to date we are archiving the cache.
If the cache owner can confirm that the cache has be relocated (by contacting the previous finder), they can post an unarchive log and the cache will be back in the game.

Collected this dragon in the pouring rain today. Great dragon who's now off to enjoy spring in Tasmania. Friesianess would never forgive me if she didn't get to meet this one! I left a Love Bug in the same spot.

Had to head down south today to meet up with friends but took the opportunity of a couple of spare minutes to call past here and rescue a griffin from the horrid weather. Lovely views from up here but the wind and rain were punishing today, not even fictional animals should be out in that.
Will attempt to warm it up by a nice fire tonight then move it on a little further
Cheers

dZ Griffin has moved down south to take in the spectacular sights from the bottom of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
This moveable is looking a healthy shade of Minotaur Orange™ like all bronzed Aussies should, and not the sickly jaundiced Griffin Yellow™ that it probably once aspired to.
Hidden towards the top of the rise, at ground level and covered with bark.

This isn't something you see every day in South Australia, two cachers seeking the same GCA moveable on the same day.
It certainly was us who were there earlier in the day and picked the dragon up to move on. Unfortunately we don't log our caches until arriving home in the afternoon, but usually this isn't a problem as GCA caches are mostly ignored by locals.
We'll take this cache to the cooler climate of the southern suburbs before re-hiding somewhere soon.

Thought I'd found this one but then realised I'd actually found a traditional cache "Dryland". Previous hider didn't make it clear whether the moveable was left inside the traditional or just nearby. I had a hunt around the area but couldn't find it. I noted that there was a log for Dryland from J & J (I think, it was a stamp) dated 10th December so I'm thinking someone was there before me today but has yet to log.

cool to see so many different types of caches, thanks Lazarus_68 for the education lesson
Dropped off at the base of a large pole with GlitziGnome.
This very nice griffin is now watching over a gold gnome under a tree near the beach. Nice to meet you, Griffin!

Grabbed from today's Gnome Grouping and will move this beautiful guy soon!
moved to the event on the 12th , not before
Dropped this one off near a lake, and close to a duck cache. I have no idea how close, because I couldn't actually find it...
I grabbed this one from it's hiding spot. Thanks Lazarus_68 for putting it OVER the other side of the stream! Anyway, I have him and will move him on to a new location soon. Thanks for the cache fluffyfish!
Moved to a GA friendly safe place
near a GC cache for FlyingPigSquadron to pick up.
