Description

Here's a Leura Mall 'small' to encourage GCA visitors to our scenic town!

This cache replaces the old 'Leura Mini-Fright' . . . which went missing after a couple of years of frightening service.

I thought long and hard about putting another cache back in this spot, but discovered that I could manage a nifty rogerw3 'small' -- with the right arrangements.

I also wanted to support the GCA cause, and this hide continues the presence of three GCA traditionals in the famous Leura Mall area.

Please don't go near the footpath bushes and, for heaven's sake, stay away from the nearest shop! Muggles are going to be your only worry. Why not time your visit here for sometime after 5pm or before 8am, and you'll have GZ to yourself.

The hint really tells you where to look . . . if you think about it for a minute!

And unlike its predecessor, it's not really that scary . . . once you determine to risk one of your hands in an unknown spot! :)

Happy hunting!

Enjoy Leura Mall!

Awesome location.

The street was pretty quiet on my morning walk before the shops opened, so after waiting for a couple of cars to get past, sat down and did the feel, and bugger me, there it was.... perfectly dry too.... TFTC!

That was fun. No help from geodad...

It took a while to have no cars at the roandabout, but we got it.

#GA2404 - 08:15; Day five, the last day of the summer sojourn in the Blue Mountains with the geohoney. After an enjoyable few days based in Leura, the time had come to pack up and head for home. It was also time to do one last quick caching run around the area while the other half finished getting ready for the trip. Thought I'd give this one a go before things got too busy in Leura central, but I was mistaken as there was a council work crew across the road. Managed the grab while they had their backs turned after moving further down the street. While I was signing the log, the local business owner came out with their advertising board, but wasn't too much of a problem, going as quickly as he'd arrived. Surreptitiously returned the cache to its hide and headed off in search of a few more. TFTC pjmpjm Very HappyClan Cerberus

spotted the likely spot straight away and sat down to do the log, watching if nobody was looking. Sure I grabbed the cache unseen, but as I was logging someone came up from behind asking if I found it. Turned out to be the cook from the restaurant who had found the cache by accident before!

Lucky for a quiet early morning, or it might have looked a little scary for this cache. TFTC

Quick grab and replace, this was nicely done well hidden. Left a Pathtag.

Found on a weekend trip to the Blue Mountains with Sol de Lune. After walking down from the top of the street, we searched here for a few minutes before SdL made the find. Nicely hidden. Great little part of town. TFTC Pjmpjm! Clan Cerberus

Day 2 of a run around the cerberus mountains with Toy Hunters grabbing all manner of caches. Clan CerberusClan Cerberus

After reading the description, I was staying away from the plants and things, so check the other obvious spot...and bingo. No real problems with the grab....just had to out wait some walkers to make the return. All good PJMPJM...and no, not so scary.

Thanks for getting us to walk through the mall....my first time here in many many years.

Thankfully I got parking close as the afternoon's snow was still in the freezing wind. Having found the original I knew where to look for a quick find with frozen hands.

TFTC.

found on the way back from Mt York to grab a few easier caches as it was getting darker. Came here for the previous one but it had been muggled so I wasn't successful. But this time I was successful and got the cache and sat on the seat that used to have a sign saying it was for tired husband. Signed the log then went back and replaced as found.

Much more user friendly that the last version...or what I HEARD the last version was. TFTC.

Rather surprised to get the FTF on this one however I'll take it!
I knew where this one was since I had found the original creepy cache a long time ago.
Thanks for the cache, always nice to find a new GCA cache.
