With most of our Wednesday night caching crew out with the flu, GLISS and I decided to take the opportunity to clear out some GCA’s and earn a few more battleship shots. Can’t believe we have been playing this game for a month now! Still a long way to go. Nice fast find at GZ. Thanks for the cache.

With the country going into lockdown & meat / chicken / rice & dunny paper in short supply I figured it was time to go for a caching run & drop of some movables & complete some caches, needed to clear my head as job insecurity is of real concern & I had enough of the bullshit – so cache on – this was the 4th 1 completed after dropping off the movables. I very much enjoyed your caches today & the drive that it provided – many thanks for showing the area to me – cache found nicely - TFTC / TFTH / SL Clan GriffinClan Griffin

With a day off and the eagerness to get out for a cache or two, Wink I headed out for a run along the back-roads and Hume-HWY between Yass and Gunning. I chose this route to collect caches that has popped up, to avenge DNF’s and to collect caches I missed last time, I did this run (back in 2016). I found a good mixture of caches both in sizes and types of hides. Most were quick finds and all caches were signed and replaced except for three DNF’s and one NA. Out of 45 attempted caches, which is a mixture of both GC and GCA, I ended up finding 41 of them. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and the rest of the caching community. Big Grin TFTC’s and TFTTP’s Big Grin

Very Happy It feels so good to finally have found this one. Very Happy

With a day off in hand, I wanted to take the opportunity to go caching which had been decided a few days ago. This morning, I opened up my emails and I noticed that there was a new cache which oddly didn’t have any finds on it. Surprised What was even weirder, this new cache is in the heart of FTF hound country. Surprised Given I was already planning on caching in that area, I thought I would change up my driving route, so I could give myself the best chance of make the FTF. I knew I had about 2hrs of driving to get to GZ, so I drove in hope that I would get there before anyone else. I left Temora about 7:50am, arriving at the GZ parking area at 9:37am (a little less than 2hrs) and at 9:40am had the CIH. Big Grin But, was it a FTF? I opened the cache and next the log-book. After a quick flip through it became clear I was the FTF! Big Grin Once I signed and replaced the cache, I turned around and was greeted by an amazing view of the area. Big Grin Next, I decided to find some newer caches that has popped up since 2016 and avenge some past DNF’s around the area. I made 10 finds before lunch and after lunch I decided on hitting the ‘Tanso’ trail plus a few lone caches along the way, which added another 14 finds to the total. Big Grin Only three DNF’s, well two and one NA. Sad All found caches today, ended up being quick finds which left me wondering how, I could DNF the caches last time. I felt a bit like a [:o)]. TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the Geocaching community. Big Grin TFTC’s Big Grin

This one was my only NA (not attempted) cache today because of the nearby neighbours dogs greeting me at GZ. In other words, I chickened out this time but I'll be back! Very Happy

Found with the geokids on a rather hot day! The dogs on this property were not happy about us being there. Geodaughter would not even get out of the car.

I headed out to Yass today to pick up some GA caches to add some points for the game. A big dog here so I waited and mucked around with my cache list until it went back to the house. Cache found in good condition - TFTC Smile

Joolay and I had set our sights on the caches out here to earn more points for the current game. Most were relatively easy finds, maintenance was done on some but all logs were signed. Thanks for the caches. Cache was returned to its hidey hole. Dancing

Many thanks to the CO for keeping this trail going. It was lovely being out with Smittengranny chasing GA caches for the game. We started early and headed to this cache then out to the trigs nearby and back to Yass. Had a great day and enjoyed being out on a beautiful if quite hot day.

Cache in good condition

We stopped here to locate the GCA and GC caches in and around Yass before heading to Canberra.TFTC

An easy enough find. After signing and replacing the cache the dogs in the nearby property started barking so headed off...

GCA 1688. Out on a meander around the Yass region for some GC and GCA caches with minniek.

This was the next GCA find for the day. After skipping this the first time due to the interest of the local dogs, we snuck back quietly and found the cache without any issues on the return journey.

TFTC !! A nice series along here !

A black Labrador heralded our arrival at this one but backed off and ran home when I talked to him through the fence.
Interesting that including us 3 of the last 4 finders of this one have been from the NW Coast of Tasmania.
Thanks.

Dogs still there and quite vocal. Appreciated the hint

Before heading back to our accommodation we stopped to collect a few GA caches. Good coordinates and the hint lead to a quick find of a well hidden container. Noisy muggle dogs watched with interest while we signed the log and returned the container to its hiding spot. Think they were disappointed there was no food . We were interested to see that the last team to sign the log was Sharnies Tribe who are also from the NW coast of Tasmania.
Thanks for the cache Tanso.

A nice drive in the country with the CO to grab some caches for me and check on a few things for her. The weather was freezing and I found myself entertaining her at times while looking for her hides. Cant believe although I provided the transport, she said I was on my lonesome for the searching. I got the job done here and we were off to the next one.

Found 10:14am. I was out on a caching run with LuckyL10n and his partner and friend. As I hadn't yet found these I jumped out near each GZ and went to find the cache.. The hides were fairly easy to spot. I signed the log and returned the cache back to its hiding spot. I wonder how long these will survive. Grabbed a photo too.
Thanks for the cache.

The first along Cooks Hill road, and lucky me set the local dog off. Didn't stop barking the whole time....

Cache was found without issue and the log was signed quickly and I was on my way again.

Thanks Tanso....

#GA669 - 16:15; After a successful day of caching in the Illawarra yesterday with Sol de lune, today was a solo run to Yass to check out the new GCA caches there. I had seen that the first to finds were gone, but decided I should continue on undaunted. Parked the geomobile near GZ for this one and made another quick find, two from two and a *3TF* on this one! We went out for a drive as it was such a lovely day. We just happened to end up looking for a few caches.

Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.

Thanks for the cache, Tanso!

We saw these pop up last night but the warmth of the house and keeping an eye on the Bunnies trouncing the Dragons, meant that we left these till today.

A quick park and grab here to the accompaniment of the barking cache hound and a joint *FTF* with Just a cacher.

Thanks for the cache Tanso.
