With most of our Wednesday night caching crew out with the flu, GLISS and I decided to take the opportunity to clear out some GCA’s and earn a few more battleship shots. Can’t believe we have been playing this game for a month now! Still a long way to go. Nice fast find at GZ. Thanks for the cache.

With the country going into lockdown & meat / chicken / rice & dunny paper in short supply I figured it was time to go for a caching run & drop of some movables & complete some caches, needed to clear my head as job insecurity is of real concern & I had enough of the bullshit – so cache on – this was the 5th 1 completed after dropping off the movables. I very much enjoyed your caches today & the drive that it provided – many thanks for showing the area to me – cache found nicely - TFTC / TFTH / SL

With a day off in hand, I wanted to take the opportunity to go caching which had been decided a few days ago. This morning, I opened up my emails and I noticed that there was a new cache which oddly didn’t have any finds on it. Surprised What was even weirder, this new cache is in the heart of FTF hound country. Surprised Given I was already planning on caching in that area, I thought I would change up my driving route, so I could give myself the best chance of make the FTF. I knew I had about 2hrs of driving to get to GZ, so I drove in hope that I would get there before anyone else. I left Temora about 7:50am, arriving at the GZ parking area at 9:37am (a little less than 2hrs) and at 9:40am had the CIH. Big Grin But, was it a FTF? I opened the cache and next the log-book. After a quick flip through it became clear I was the FTF! Big Grin Once I signed and replaced the cache, I turned around and was greeted by an amazing view of the area. Big Grin Next, I decided to find some newer caches that has popped up since 2016 and avenge some past DNF’s around the area. I made 10 finds before lunch and after lunch I decided on hitting the ‘Tanso’ trail plus a few lone caches along the way, which added another 14 finds to the total. Big Grin Only three DNF’s, well two and one NA. Sad All found caches today, ended up being quick finds which left me wondering how, I could DNF the caches last time. I felt a bit like a [:o)]. TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the Geocaching community. Second day in Yass. A great clear and chilly morning. Early Sunday is always a good time for caching and quick progress was made.

Joolay and I had set our sights on the caches out here to earn more points for the current game. Most were relatively easy finds, maintenance was done on some but all logs were signed. Thanks for the caches. Cache was returned to its hidey hole. Dancing

Found with Smittengranny out and about chasing GA caches for the game. We started early and headed to this cache then out to the trigs nearby and back to Yass. Had a great day and enjoyed being out on a beautiful if quite hot day.

We stopped here to locate the GCA and GC caches bfore heading to Canberra. TFTC

A very easy find, not hard to spot at all. A little bit thorny but picked up okay. Thanks.

Headed out for a quick afternoon of caching with fitzy_1965.

Our main aim was to clear out some GCA in the Yass area. This was our first find (passed on #1 as I'm not a big dog fan).

This one was a bit nasty and came out a bit scratched after retrieving it.
Interesting to see that the last log entry in the book was by someone who had found it while cleaning up rubbish on the side of the road. Noticed that that muggle has now become the cacher Chico!! Exactly the same way we found our first one - by accident.
Thanks.

Found this by accident as we pick up rubbish along Cooks Hill Rd. Saw supermarket bag tied to the tree then cache when tried to retrieve bag. Took cache home for the day and returned it when we found out what it was about. Keen to find others on Cooks Hill Rd now

After finding Cooks Hill Road #1 we moved on to look for the next one in the series. We spotted it as we approached as its leafy cover had fallen in autumn leaving it very exposed. After signing the log we returned it to its spot and gave it a bark door to hide behind. Cache and contents were in very good condition.

Thanks for another cache in this series Tanso. We hope more cachers will find these caches in the future.

A bit spikey but found OK.

A nice drive in the country with the CO to grab some caches for me and check on a few things for her. The weather was freezing and I found myself entertaining her at times while looking for her hides. Cant believe although I provided the transport, she said I was on my lonesome for the searching. I got the job done here and we were off to the next one.

Found 10:17am. I was out on a caching run with LuckyL10n and his partner and friend. As I hadn't yet found these I jumped out near each GZ and went to find the cache.. The hides were fairly easy to spot. I signed the log and returned the cache back to its hiding spot. Grabbed a photo too. Each one seems to be a little different.
Thanks for the cache.

Dogs at the last one, this time it was lambs. Must have been cold or something, but they kept on (insert lamb making noise here - do lambs actually baa, or is it something else....) while I found and then signed the log. And as for that spikey bush...yeah, thanks for that!! Not.

But thanks for another one Tanso. It's all educational.....

Found late last night on my way home from visiting the father in law for his birthday. TFTC Smile

Out in Yass after doing some cache maintenance, decided to have a look at these new GCA's from a fellow caching friend. Nice easy finds all with good coordinates. Thanks for the cache placement Tanso, picked up Second To Find here. (STF)

#GA670 - 16:20; After a successful day of caching in the Illawarra yesterday with Sol de lune, today was a solo run to Yass to check out the new GCA caches there. I had seen that the first to finds were gone, but decided I should continue on undaunted. Parked the geomobile near GZ for this one and made another quick find, three from three and another *3TF*! We went out for a drive as it was such a lovely day. We just happened to end up looking for a few caches.

Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.

Thanks for the cache, Tanso!

We saw these pop up last night but the warmth of the house and keeping an eye on the Bunnies trouncing the Dragons, meant that we left these till today.

A quick park and grab here today and a joint *FTF* with Just a cacher.

Thanks for the cache Tanso.
