Out on the trail today picking up what we can. Huge pile of bones next to GZ today. Performed a bit of community maintenance as the local train went by. Thanks for the cache.

Had a good look for this one a lifted lots of slabs. I think this has gone missing so have replaced. TFTC

DNF – some times you just need to admit defeat – I was defeated by this 1 – in the past GZ’s like this 1 you need to be on the money pretty quickly before frustration sets in.

I looked under and lifted slabs, after removing dumped large palm fronds, but couldn't find the cache. Potentially snaky area this.

With a day off in hand, I wanted to take the opportunity to go caching which had been decided a few days ago. This morning, I opened up my emails and I noticed that there was a new cache which oddly didn’t have any finds on it. Surprised What was even weirder, this new cache is in the heart of FTF hound country. Surprised Given I was already planning on caching in that area, I thought I would change up my driving route, so I could give myself the best chance of make the FTF. I knew I had about 2hrs of driving to get to GZ, so I drove in hope that I would get there before anyone else. I left Temora about 7:50am, arriving at the GZ parking area at 9:37am (a little less than 2hrs) and at 9:40am had the CIH. Big Grin But, was it a FTF? I opened the cache and next the log-book. After a quick flip through it became clear I was the FTF! Big Grin Once I signed and replaced the cache, I turned around and was greeted by an amazing view of the area. Big Grin Next, I decided to find some newer caches that has popped up since 2016 and avenge some past DNF’s around the area. I made 10 finds before lunch and after lunch I decided on hitting the ‘Tanso’ trail plus a few lone caches along the way, which added another 14 finds to the total. Big Grin Only three DNF’s, well two and one NA. Sad All found caches today, ended up being quick finds which left me wondering how, I could DNF the caches last time. I felt a bit like a [:o)]. TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the Geocaching community. Big Grin TFTC’s Big Grin

Joolay and I had set our sights on the caches out here to earn more points for the current game. Most were relatively easy finds, maintenance was done on some but all logs were signed. Thanks for the caches. Cache was returned to its hidey hole. Dancing

Found with Smittengranny out and about chasing GA caches for the game. We started early and headed to this cache then out to the trigs nearby and back to Yass. Had a great day and enjoyed being out on a beautiful if quite hot day. This cache had not been found previously but I actually stumbled on it out in the grassy area. Don't think it belonged there so returned it to a more hidden spot.

No luck for us today with this one. Moved most of the clue with no cache (or anything else happily!) to be found. Maybe next time...

Headed out for a quick afternoon of caching with fitzy_1965.

Our main aim was to clear out some GCA in the Yass area. Had a good look around, in and under but didn't find anything. Crying or Very sad

Moved a fair bit of the clue but couldn't find a cache here. That's 2dnf's in a row after a great start at the beginning of the series. Thanks.

We looked at the area of GZ and thought that this could take some time. However we uncovered the cache in the second place we looked. The cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache and the series Tanso. We hope other cachers will look for the hides in this series in the future.

This could have taken a while, but fortunately spotted it through a crack after a few minutes.

Thanks

A nice drive in the country with the CO to grab some caches for me and check on a few things for her. The weather was freezing and I found myself entertaining her at times while looking for her hides. Cant believe although I provided the transport, she said I was on my lonesome for the searching. I got the job done here and we were off to the next one.

Found 10:33am. I was out on a caching run with LuckyL10n and his partner and friend. As I hadn't yet found this I jumped out near GZ and went to find the cache.. The hide was fairly easy to spot. I signed the log and returned the cache back to its hiding spot. Hopefully they survive for a some time. Grabbed a photo too.
Thanks for the cache.

The last of the Cooks Hill Road caches, but parking where I did I could also grab the next one....so that was a bonus.

Had to walk back a little for this one but once at GZ, I just had to move one or two things around GZ and the cache was soon in hand. Pity that stuff was dumped there, but it can serve a purpose now I guess....

Thanks Tanso.....

Found late last night on my way home from visiting the father in law for his birthday. TFTC Smile

Out in Yass after doing some cache maintenance, decided to have a look at these new GCA's from a fellow caching friend. Nice easy finds all with good coordinates. Thanks for the cache placement Tanso, picked up Second To Find here. (STF)

#GA674 - 16:45; After a successful day of caching in the Illawarra yesterday with Sol de lune, today was a solo run to Yass to check out the new GCA caches there. I had seen that the first to finds were gone, but decided I should continue on undaunted. Parked the geomobile right near GZ for this one and didn't even take the GPSr out of the car. A quick inspection of the likely hiding place and soon it was seven from seven and another *3TF*! TFTC Tanso Very HappyClan Cerberus

We went out for a drive as it was such a lovely day. We just happened to end up looking for a few caches.

Joint *FTF* with Black Bunny.

Thanks for the cache, Tanso!

We saw these pop up last night but the warmth of the house and keeping an eye on the Bunnies trouncing the Dragons, meant that we left these till today.

A quick park and grab here and a joint *FTF* with Just a cacher.

Thanks for the cache Tanso.
