Description

9th in the series of Blue Mountains phone booths.

The Phone Call is a song by Joe Satriani. Satriani is a great guitarist...not the greatest singer, but this song makes the point.

DNF'd this one a couple of years ago but on todays visit I managed to make a quick find....but unfortunately there was no log in the cache. Talking with the CO later in the day, it appears there could be an issue here, so hopefully that an be sorted. This a good little series and it would be a shame if this one goes.

Thanks again Alnic39....photo of the empty bison attached.

#GA2361 - 20:30; After weekend caching around the Macquarie region, today I was headed for the hills for a few days with the geohoney relaxing in the Blue Mountains. After collecting a couple of caches closer to sea level and a couple of trigs on the way up the hill, we stopped off at the Norman Lindsay Gallery and took a tour. It was well worth the visit and so were the scones and jam at the cafe after Clapping By this time we had checked into the hotel and finished logs from the earlier finds before having a nice meal and heading into the town centre to collect a nice bottle of red. Parked on the taxi rank and had a chat with a cabbie who thought I was after the ATM there, which was out of order. Wandered around the corner and grabbed this cache before heading back and getting directions from the helpful cabbie to the nearest functioning ATM. TFTC alnic39 Very HappyClan Cerberus

Day 2 of a run around the cerberus mountains with Toy Hunters grabbing all manner of caches. Clan CerberusClan Cerberus

But alas, this one beat us. We search high and low but couldn't find it. There is a velcro patch, like some of the others, but sadly nothing was attached. I'll be back another day I'm sure, so will try again.

Thanks anyway Alnic39.

Found this one on the way down from Mt York what a great container when it wouldn't budge with the normal amount of pressure thought I had the wrong item. As it is usually busy made it look like I was on the phone while signing the log. Replaced as found

This is a very, very familiar place for me!

And . . . FTF!

Should be nice and secure here.

(This Booth now offers Wi-Fi via Telstra, the first of its kind in Leura.)

All in good order.

TNLNSL.

Thanks to alnic39 for another Blue Mountains GCA Traditional!
