Description

Hidden at the end of Davies Avenue

This should be a fairly easy cache to find just around to the right from the 940 sign at the end of Davies Avenue

However there are a few places that match the hint just have to find the right level

The co-ordinates were there for 10 minutes

If they are wrong let me know & I'll update

Caching at the end of Davies Rd today. Arrived at GZ after a short bush bash nearly damaging my ear by poking it with a branch as I bent to investigate a hidey spot. Found and placed my monica in the log book before replacing as found. tftc

#GA2497 - 18:05; Day one of a caching mission in the Blue Mountains with Sol de lune. After an early start in Canberra, we collected a few of the newer caches along the highway before we reached the foot of the mountains and started the major part of the mission, to collect GCA caches to help us meet some dragonZone trophy requirements. We had enjoyed a great start having picked up a few caches already, including the 10K series, as we were now headed around in the hills. After a bit of urban caching in Springwood, it was time to head bush again for a few more down in the Dell. After emerging from the Dell, we picked up a few more as we made our way slowly towards Katoomba. After a quicker than expected solution at the nearby gadget cache, I headed solo over for this one as Sdl had found it on a previous visit. Luck was on my side today as I managed to locate the cache and get the log signed fairly smartly. TFTC phlphotos Very HappyClan Cerberus

Geodad said this wasn't far from the road. Further than he thought though

Mum got to this one quickly, while my sister and I walked in more carefully to avoid getting caught in the scrub. No way mum I saw trying to get all the little bits of twig & bark out of her hair.

Thank you.

Oops, sorry phlphotos, I assumed all of these caches were Alnics. Only noticed the different name after I logged the find.

Our last cache for the evening, before returning to collect CFig from gymnastics. We had a short walk through an area I know well, and made it to GZ. Cache was a quick find exactly where the coordinates said it would be.

Thanks Alnic, it's not often we can get three nice caches in one street Very Happy .

Found on a weekend trip to the Blue Mountains with Sol de Lune. GCA no. 800 - woohoo! After parking at the end of the street, we quickly walked into the bush towards GZ, for a very quick find. Lovely little area. TNLNSL. TFTC Phlphotos! Clan Cerberus

Grabbed with Toy Hunters during our 2 day run around the Cerberus Mountains.... Clan CerberusClan Cerberus

After grabbing the "street walking" cache....which we drove, we continued on down to grab this on. No problems and the cache was soon in hand. Dropped an older moveable nearby to give it a new home....for a while.

Thanks PHLPHOTOS.....

Out and about with Mrs. pjmpjm this afternoon, I managed to find time to venture into the depths of south Springwood, to a rather familiar location. A Sydney Water truck and its two employees were lounging nearby, but this didn't deter me as I plunged off into the bush and ventured about 50 metres or so until I spied a spot that very much corresponded with the hint.

Very nice cache! Well-presented and with swaps still remaining. It should remain dry here and will also be relatively safe from bush fires. TNLNSL.

Thanks again for phlphotos for another good quality Blue Mountains GCA cache!

Four Thumbs Up for a cache done up the way caches should be done up . . .

A cache at the end of my street! While I was preparing to meet phlphotos in town, he was in my street up to no good. Thanx Phil!

A favoured patch of the mountains with the cache an easy walk through the light bush shrubbery. Cache was a relatively easy find and tucked away loaded with plenty of kiddy treasure ... some parental caution may be needed for the 'drop' but geo juniors likely more nimble than the old 'mushroom gives credit for. TFTC ☺

A nice walk from Springwood station to GZ, a spot I have been to many times and the cache was soon found. Very well done and nicely located.
Thanks for the new cache.
