Description

No.18 in the Blue Mountains phone booth series.

Now now! Don't be offended or get awkward! It's a song by The Doors.

There are many songs dedicated to the telephone. This series of caches is dedicated the phone booth. There are not many left these days...come find the cache and make a call to someone significant...and maybe the booths will live on? This one is outside a shop...a shop that was not very busy when my son and I came by to place the cache. Not to worry. There is nothing strange about someone standing inside a phone booth. Have the receiver in your hand and make it look like you are talking to someone.

I think the rest of the family thought we were strange when we radioed from ahead to tell them we were diverting to 'find a phone box'... Smile
One of the most unloved caches we've found.... its always cool to find them like that. TFTC!

Heading up the mountains this morning I stopped to do the trig then walked down to do this cache too. A quick find. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

#GA2357 - 15:30; After weekend caching around the Macquarie region, today I was headed for the hills for a few days with the geohoney relaxing in the Blue Mountains. After collecting a couple of caches closer to sea level and a couple of trigs on the way up the hill, we stopped off at the Norman Lindsay Gallery and took a tour. It was well worth the visit and so were the scones and jam at the cafe after Clapping Back on the road again, found a convenient park and grabbed a snap of the nearby trig before wandering down to enjoy a find on this cache. 2TF with rogerw3 early this afternoon.

No worries about muggles at this spot, although the two dogs in the adjacent property voiced some opposition!

All was in good order. TNLNSL.

Thanks again to alnic39 for another upper Blue Mountains GCA!
