Description

What sort of screwdriver do you think you are going to need?

There are a lot of different types of screwdrivers, here are a few types

screw types

The cache contains a couple of boxes with the log and a first to find certificate in the second one and some things that might be of interest.

Don't take the screws all the way out for the second box

The cache is located along the Cripple Creek Fire Trail with a nice view into the valley nearby the coordinates

Good Luck

Well out of lock-down & able to travel into the blue mountains area DancingCool . What a relief, all I wanted to do was go for a walk along a bush trail but don’t have that within 5 km of home SickAnxiousRolling EyesTwisted EvilEvil or Very MadCrying or Very sad so had to wait until I could. It was not a long day today but it was nice to be able to do this. Well I lover this cache very much – brought a full roll of screw drivers & very glad I did – a very nice idea this is – a little different – glad I picked this 1 to do out of lock-down , sat back & enjoyed all the noises of the bush – missed it very much

Found by MrT while on a bike ride. He took TOTT with him, so no problems finding and accessing the cache. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

A very nice mid winter afternoon for a short walk in a well known area.
No problem finding the container and since we had remembered to brings our tools the opening duties were soon done and the log book signed.
Thank you for a great cache, loved it.

Thanks to the initiative of rogerw3, we drove down here on a beautiful winter's afternoon and headed up a very familiar fire trail, the scene of several past exploits in recent years, some rather challenging.

However, this one was quite straight-forward, especially since we'd remember to bring the appropriate tools for the job!

rogerw3 did the mechanical honours, and in record time he had the two 'containers' opened and the log book revealed . . .

TNLNSL. All was in very good order.

A nice place and a fun cache! Thanks very much phlphotos! We'll remember this one and its neighbour. Four thumbs up . . .

What a fun cache this was. Sir Altaire had enough screwdrivers. No need to bring any more. Luckily only one was needed. Loved the double whammy and we were intrigued with the twist. Great idea.

We were in the area for a spot of caching with Tronador. After doing one down in the valley we wended our way back up the gentle hill to this area. Did the nearby sketches cache and then moved over to this one. I'd brought about 28 different screwdrivers so we had no problems peeling this one open to reach the log kernel. Nice spot.

An after work adventure in the rain. Luckily I had the required tool at my disposal!?!

A great spot to walk to and a fun hide.

Yes...patience is required here. I had to stop at Bunnings on the way down to replace my screwdriver set which has all sorts of strangely shaped tools. The trails here are busy on a spring morning. I remembered to take the FTF card this time. Thanx Sir Phil.
