Description
Take a photo of yourself at this interesting location
The coordinates will have you at the carpark somewhere near between the Visitors Centre, the slaughter house and the historic woolshed. Please take a photo of yourself somewhere in the area.
Kinchega Woolshed witnessed the evolution in shearing technology that was seen throughout the wool industry during the nineteenth-twentieth centuries with the changeover from shearers blades to mechanical handpieces, the latter powered by a steam traction engine that was located outside the shed. Within walking distance of the shed, a cluster of corrugated iron clad buildings accommodated the shearers, cookhouse and stores. These days they house tourists and students.

This was well worth the visit. Very interesting. I photographed my reflection in a window of the wool-shed. TFTC The Morris.

After the recent rain this was a higher terrain rating – the tracks was very wet & doggy in places Got within 780 metres of GZ & came across an across track about 180 metre long bog area – could have drove through but weigh up the risk of getting stuck & being 1st to claim the find – higher risk of getting stuck – thanks of showing area to us.
