Description

Striving Towards Blue Mountains Power Trail was originally set up by Acko (ack son of hack) in 2012. During that time 2 have been archived. To continue the trail I have sought to replace the 2 missing to continue the trail in number order

Congratulations to Lucky1955 on FTF

This original cache was hidden by Acko on 16/10/12 and archived on 24/10/13

The original cache description read:

on the way outa Northo, near where a LOT O' young people walk to High School.

The School opened in 1978 just after we moved here. We had no phone for 18 months and I was on call. So when the 'Beeper' went orf I had to come up to Northo's phone box to answer. We also only had mail 3 times a week. Wow has this area changed. But we stilol love it!.

Out on a rainy day with Outdoornut22 I suppose what better do we have to do. Interesting actually getting this one in hand, didn't want to walk across or along the road because of all the splash in the poor weather from the vechiles, so an interesting little bush bash was achieved to collect the log and sign. I think next time I would just take the splash and walk along the road..... a really solid find in good condition with a couple of swaps inside it as well.

Out in the rain today with Sophoutloud and had about the unluckiest caching day we have had in a long time with only a 50% success rate it almost wasn't worth getting drenched for Very Happy we quickly found the large area to park off the main road and were a little worried about walking along the road as it was quite bust and raining but we found the walking track behind the trees and managed to bash up to the road from there and quickly found the cache. cache is still nice and dry inside despite the poor weather Very Happy

A great day of caching from Richmond to Mt Victoria. Weather was perfect (a little hot later on) and mosty caches were in good condition. Great to see this many GCA caches around here, thanks for putting them all out!

#GA2281 - 12:55; When the States of the Nation game began, a plan was hatched for a group of ACT cachers to take a trip north to the Hawkesbury on a scavenger raid. As time passed the group's numbers dwindled, but with a bit of work solving puzzles and a few things rescheduled, our merry band comprising andrewbt, Sol de lune and I set off on a damp Canberra morning to try our hand. A recent visit to Canberra by cachers from this area provided an added incentive, so we could repay the karma points we gained from their visit. A successful day it turned out to be with 56 finds and only three DNFs. Second find in this series today and a nice quick one too! TFTC phlphotos Very HappyClan Cerberus

After a bit of a wander through a green area, our next stop another in the this series. Parked up above the cache and took the walk down the path and up to GZ. No problems grabbing the cache and we soon had our names in the log book. Cache replaced and we were again.

Thanks for another one Phlphotos......

Looking for a GC cache and I accidentally found this one. Webguy was frantic he had signed it. He instantly scribbled out the log when he realised. I hardly do GCA caches these days. This prompted me to log two trigs and another GCA at Lapstone I hadn't logged for 3 years and 2 years respectively. I have been a bit slack with GCA logs. Finally caught up. Now I can finally find others. TFTC.

FTF @ 13:30 this afternoon. Time picked as I thought it would be quieter and was. This is a very busy road particularly in the morning and afternoon peak times as well as school drop off and pick up times. weekends can just be busy all day.
