Description
Yellow Gnome. My second entry into this year's GeGnome ][ Electric Boogaloo moveable race
I'd love to see photos of Yellow in different locations especially if he can meet up with his brothers.
GeGnome ][ Electric Boogaloo
Game Period: 01-Dec-2015 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2016 23:59:59 AEST
Rules of the game
- Your geocache must be a genuine, bone fide garden gnome. It may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2015 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own geocache during the game period.
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the geocache to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the geocache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If a geocacher moves your geocache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the geocache mover may move your geocache back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the geocache.
Move early, move often but above all Have Fun.

Handed to whitewebbs whilst caching in the area.
Caching in the area, we were happy to find this moveable. Boy, Yellow Gnome is a heavy chap.

Dropped off just north of Temora. Saw a big tree stump that was more than big enough for this fellow.
Spotted in the hands of alnic39 while out and about today. TFTM

Apologies to the CO, as I have had this gnome in my possession since Rutherglen, where it was handed to me. He is safe and sound in my garden in the Blue Mountains, but will be on the road with me in July on a trig and trad trip to Bendigo...where I will set him free.

Well today was an interesting one.
Plenty of caches found.
Met plenty of people too.
At one cache here I managed to send the gnome on its way.
Don't bother looking it has moved on.
Maybe NSW I here.

Still in the hiding spot I put him in over 3 1/2 years ago so it's high time he moved on. I plan to put him out near the city in the next few weeks with a couple of other moveables I've got.
This guy may still be in location....if you are in the area why not stop and see if you can help him on his way again, we're sure the CO would appreciate it.
Great cache. Nice and bright but you may need to consider that which may cover over the cache.

Periodically the Geocaching Australia review team checks moveable caches that haven’t been found or moved in over 90 days.
This moveable fits that brief, however reading previous logs, this one has been removed from the current co-ords by the CO and will be relocated soon.

I picked this guy up from the Parkville Mega and have hidden nearby. He was too heavy to put in my suit case for the flight home.

One of the many GCA Caches spotted whilst at Parkville. Great to meet so many GCA supporters and thanks to chance to find your cache.
Thanks for this one geo_jas.

travelled back home to SA from Perth for family reasons and decided that Melbourne is only a short hop from Adelaide, so I logged an attendance at the Parkville Mega event and headed over for 5 days in Melbourne. I hired an E bike and had it for 4 days so was able to get around to many places and grab lots of caches as well as biking from the Youth Hostel in North Melbourne to Parkeville which was only a short ride. I arrived Thursday arvo and headed into the cbd from North Melbourne for a quick look around and then back to the Hostel I was too early to pick up the bike so jumped on a tram and headed to the docklands and grabbed some caches in the area. I can not believe how much the CBD and docklands has changed since we were here about 5 years ago. Found this frog at the GCA gathering at the Parkeville mega event. Thanks for the cache GEO JAs
I spotted/signed this trackable at the Parkville Mega Event

I was introduced to Yellow Gnome and was told his story.
Thankyou skullracing for saving him from extinction and to Whheels for escorting him to the Mega for our enjoyment.
He’s quite a heavy little fellow and I did not offer him a lift home with us, but he is in very good hands with Whheels.
So pleased he’s back in circulation Geo_Jas

This little fella has been idle for too long, this looks like a good spot to wait for a lift to a new location.
i was hanging out with a good friend on the weekend, and whilst my back was turned for 5 minutes, he snuck this little fellow into the front seat of my car, let’s see where we can move him on too.
This moveable seems to have been found and removed in March 2017, however to date it has not been relocated.
As this is now over 12 months ago, the chances of the cache being relocated are minimal. To keep the Geocaching Australia database clean and up to date we are archiving the cache.
If the cache owner can confirm that the cache has be relocated (by contacting the finder who collected the cache in March 2017) they can post an unarchive log and the cache will be back in the game.

Walking around at the Alexandra MEGA event and I aimlessly almost fell over this gnome. What an exciting little collection of moveables out the front of a tent.....I quickly added my name to the logs and was sprung by Ikkibrady mid-signature. We swapped Geocacher codewords and he invited me to take a trackable or two. I grabbed a couple, but left this gem in place. TFTC Geo_Jas!

Yes, definitely a yellow gnome! Was excited to find it at the Alexandra Event. We appreciate finding moveables as very few make it to our location and locating them in the wild has had more miss than hit lately. TFTM geo_jas

Spotted on the table inside the shed near the trackables. I wasn't sure whether there would be GCA caches at the event but nice to see a few. I had a movable in my bag that I brought over from TAS but ended up just bringing it back home. Thanks for sharing this one geo_jas

We are currently touring South Australia with our geovan in tow, using geocaching as a guide. We have visited many amazing locations through geocaching and today we are in Alexandra for the Alexandra Event. Spotted Yellow Gnome at the trackable table and left him there for other people to find.
Many thanks Geo_Jas for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience today.

Not quite sure what the previous log means, so I was a bit worried if the cache would be there or not. Shouldn't of worried though, it didn't take long to spot this brightly colour gnome. Signed the log, but left him in situ as he works well in there....
Thanks Geo-Jas....see you tomorrow probably....

Swapped with Beckham7 on a rather hot day
Grabbed to move along - this time no muggle problems. Dropped a couple off and rehid the rest as were a bit too visible
Sadly I had to abort a recovery mission to grab this as there was a muggle nearby talking on the phone (on and on and on...) so I dare not do more than have a quick look for YG, and then I only saw his companion so gave up - the heat was already too much for more than drive-by caches...
Sorry geo-jas, with it being the lead up to Christmas and hot weather, we held onto this brother (he ain't heavy he's my brotherrrrrrr) for longer than intended, but with a break in the weather tonight we rehid our bevy of beauties!
So heavy he didn't stay with me long, but got a few km
Finally found a couple of minutes to drop off some gnomes.
Bwahahahahaha! I hope this one lasts the weekend until a certain known geocacher comes along to find his own gnome Travel far young Gnomie.
Well I'm certainly getting an exercise from carrying this gnome. That's my exercise done for the next 18 years!!
Drop off to hide and wait for next finder.
