Description

Have a bit of a lookout over Brookton.

The road in is a little rough but accessable by 2wd car. I don't think taking in a caravan is a good idea but camper trailer may be ok.

There is nothing else here but the view and a cache so enjoy.

The cache is a screw top fruit container amonst the rocks with some swaps inside.

With all the recent rain in the area we didn't get too far along the track in the campervan. Deep puddles looked a bit dodgy and we've already had to be towed out of one track on this trip to the 'big island' while looking for a cache.
Mr Beetle set about turning around while I walked to GZ. Wasn't very far and a quick find was made at GZ.
At 4.30 pm I didn't take the time to walk a little further and check out the views.
We really needed to finish the caches in town and find a camping spot for the night.
Thanks.

The second find on today's road trip with Me&B. Not sure we could see Brookton from here, but the trees were amazing so well worth coming here.

Out for a trip with Chwiliwr doing some maintenance of a few GC caches that were destroyed by the burn off fires earlier this year. We then much further south and east to do some more GC and GCA caches that he had noticed were out here unfound by us before returning to the city.

This was one of the caches found by us without any problems.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thanks for the cache.

thanks for the cache and for bringing me here. only been down this a few times and never knew this spot was here. the cache was easy to find and was in good condition. drove around sliwly due to the water laying around and due to the bleak weather there was not much of a view. thanks ross1957

Heading down to Gnowangerup this morning, decided to take the scenic route (the one with more caches that is) so went via the Brookton Hwy.
Stopped off here for a quick find once at GZ. Geokiddies and myself signed the log and were on our way. TFTC.

*FTF* ... Decided to "go for drive" today, just like you suggested ... the main mission was to pick your five new caches in the area, but also did some Wandoo caches and a couple of others.

Last find of the day for me ... drove in, found the cache and did the logging duties before stopping to take in the view. Great spot here and good to come to a place like this that I would normally whiz past and not even notice.

Thanks for the hide Ross1957
