GeGnome ][ Electric Boogaloo is a game where geocaching garden gnomes (known as GeGnomes) will race around the world accumulating finds, moves and distance in order for their owner to be crowned GeGnomic King or Queen.
The game requires you to hide a moving geocache on Geocaching Australia on the 1st of December 2015 and then you can sit back and watch as your GeGnome travels Australia and the world. You can also help other GeGnomes by finding and moving them along at Geocaching Australia.

In the Brisbane for a couple of days and tried to grab a few moveables, along with other caches on a day out an about. Wasn't confident about this one and once at GZ the search didn't produce anything. The tree at GZ has nowhere to hide a cache...it may have when the cache when dropped here 2.5 years, but sadly I think the area has been cleaned up and the cache probably gone. Sadly, this is probably another one in the area that should be archived...
Moved to nice park at Gordon Park with G-gnome 
Swapped places with gnogrin and mr clippy. Under big tree leaves hanging low. Next nudgee golf course. Next fence
Back in Boundary park where gnome gold started his journey. All alone now.

That was an easy find. Didn't even need to use coordinate. Saw the only tree overlooking golf and footy. Thanks for easy find on hot day

Having a great party . waiting for friends to arrive
Enjoying the view of playing fields. Getting a bit lonely 
We were heading to the sunny south side of Brisbane to visit the new babies in our extended family. The gnomes decided that they would like to tag along, a chance to continue their journey.
Family duties complete, we headed off to the Salisbury pub for lunch. Looking up at the quarry walls I casually mentioned that there was an earthcache up there I would like to attempt. The other half of the team agreed and Gnome Miner decided to tag along in my backpack. 'The other half' used to live around here and mentioned that it was part of the Ipswich Coal Measures. As soon as Gnome-Miner heard this he wished to be left in this area in order to fossick a bit and maybe find a decent coal seam. We didn't have the heart to tell him that even if he did we did not think the council would be too keen on excavating a mine in this beautiful bushland.
Gnome Miner is hidden just off the pathway approximately 270m further up the path from the "Unconformity on Neranleigh Fernvale beds" Earthcache GC677XT. Use the parking and access co-ordinates for the EC.

Oh dear, trouble in my household this morning
Then this morning...
We woke up to squabbling in the lounge room. It seems that G-nome had found the box of caching chocolates and while he had opened them, suddenly realised that Samboo had a box of Lindt chocolates that Santa had given him for Christmas. G-nome kept on asking why he had to eat Cadbury, when Samboo had a box of 'good chocolates'. The bear wasn't so sure about this, after all Santa had given him the box of chocolates and he didn't want to give the box to G-nome. Needless to say there was quite a to do with Samboo getting quite upset, G-nome and Gnome-Miner being insistent that the chocolate should be consumed not hoarded, and the middle of it GnoGrin trying to come to a compromise.
GnoGrin gently suggested that since there were five balls in the box, and only four people to eat them, Samboo should keep the extra chocolate. It was then that Samboo realised that he was amongst friends and that yes, he should share his chocolates because that's what friends do.
... and they all lived happily ever after.
When we went to bed last night Samboo and the gnomes were quite happily sitting and watching the Doctor Who Christmas Special. Gnome-Miner particularly wanted to see it because he's seen the previews on youTube but missed out his phone was all out of credit to be able to watch it on iView. Anyway, as I said they were all quite happily getting on when we went to bed.
Then this morning...

“There are gnomes down there, can we go and rescue them?’ Samboo asked.
“We don’t see why not”, was our reply and we packed some coffee, water and snacks and hit the road.
Travelling south, we travelled through the new St Helena tunnel and arrived at a spot near Emigrant Creek. Samboo elected to stay in the car but rushed out when we brought out the gnomes from their hiding spot. As he leaped from the car he proceeded to greet the gnomes. He was particularly excited to see Gnogrin. Gnogrin stayed with us before he started his own adventure.
Of course there was lots of chats in the back of the car as Samboo and the gnomes swapped news and stories. After a small side trip down to Evans Head, the gnomes will stay at our house near the beach, for the next day at so, resting up for the next part of their adventure. I heard at least one of them is hoping to go surfing.

Dropped the 3 little gnomes off at the banks of the Kedron Brooke. Left them at safe distance from the creek, just in case it rains. They may just get a lift with on of the cyclists or passers by.
Found these guys in a pretty cool inner city suburb of Brisbane. Gnome Miner was hanging out with G-nome and Gnogrin again. A very clever hide, almost thought they had been muggled, but slowly and surely 3 little gnome hats began to appear as the leaves were brushed away.

Waiting near popular train station for a lift
Had an enjoyable game of golf with gminer and gnogrin. Overlooking the golf course
Moved to a park at Keperra on Camoola Street. Unsure of park name but possibly called Kindilan place. Gnorgrin, G-Nome and Gnome miner still together. Enjoyed a very Christmas filled day at Chermside shopping Centre and then met a very friendly, festive pug called Charlie.
Found all the gnomes together in bush they were hiding from the rain.

After a long drive from the Gold Coast, having a quiet rest in a little known park in Everton park with G-nome and Gnogrin
Having trouble keeping up with Gnome Miner . He keeps finding gnomes to travel with. This time I found him at the Gold Coast with G-nome and the happiest gnome, Gnogrin.

After the Bike ride yesterday Gnome Miner thought he would go for a ride on a scooter. Head is we'll and truly healed now and he is waiting for a lift in Boundary Park, Everton Hills.
Have caught up with this little guy again. Looks like he has been enjoying his travels a little too much. Will move him onto a nice spot.

Found at logoon with gnome. Was telling GGnome about my friend gnome gold who travelled all the way to perth but has not travelled further. Gnome wants to stay for only a little while to continue bird watching but im going for a bike ride. Look at me go
