He is an entrant in a game where geocaching garden gnomes known as GeGnomes race around the world accumulating finds, moves and distance in order for their owner to be crowned GeGnome King or Queen. GeGnome][Electric Boogaloo cache race runs from 1/12/15 till 31/1/16.
When you find Victor please move him on within a few days as he is hyperactive and doesn't like to sit still for long. You can find him again so long as two other cachers have found him between your two finds.

Cache has been with the previous find for almost 12 months. To avoid others looking for a cache that is not in the stated location, this cache is being archived. If it appears again, it can be reinstated…

Moved to Callum Brae Nature Reserve. Follow the track from the entrance gate off Narrabundah Lane. Hidden in the end of a large fallen tree, at ground level, just beyond where the path splits into two. See spoiler picture.
I picked up a bag of moveables. This was in it. TFTC ChrisWhite62.

For a bit of a change from sitting in front of the computer solving jigsaws today, I managed to discover this and a few other Moveables. They aren't moving much during this period of isolation due to the COVID 19 restrictions which are being lifted gradually so it is good to be able to log these thanks to SDL. All available logs were signed and returned to the cache. Thanks ChrisWhite 62 for this fellow .

Dropped this off on the way into the ACT to move it on it's way.
Was stuck for a while due to the holder not doing too much travelling lately.
The tub at the drop off point was broken and damp inside so will need to be replaced (we left the TB's in a plastic bag).

With a day off and an event in ‘The Rock’ plus pre-geocaching lead to a great day out. I also got a FTF on the cache ‘Break the Drive – Urana’ (GA12529). I started out with collecting the finds around Urana which included the most disgusting cache I have ever found (GC3BDFX). [xx(][xx(] I completely disapprove of that cache and hope to never see a hide like that ever again. [xx(][xx(] I visited a few different spots around and I enjoyed the ‘Leap year 2020 at The Rock’ event hosted by B&MG. A great BBQ and many geo-conversations were had by all. There were also many GCA moveable caches signed while we were there. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTE and TFTC’s

A review of this moveable shows the cache has been collected from its currently listed co-ords and is sitting with the cache owner. As a result, we are archiving the cache to stop cachers looking for a cache that is obviously not at the listed co-ords. This is also done to keep the Geocaching Australia database clean and up to date.
Once the cache owner replaces the cache, they can post an unarchive log and the cache will be back in the game.

Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.

I hope Victor has his life jacket on if he is still travelling inside the "tardis" as it looks like he is on his way to New Zealand having sailed from Devonport?
Victor is hiding inside a TARDIS along Hack Range Road.

We've been out of the loop a bit lately, and haven't had much time for geocaching, but today we took a few minutes to log a couple of GCA caches for a nice change.
This one was a nice quick find, and came with us for a trip to Kadina and back to help out Mrs J's parents with domestic chores. We will take this one back to J & J HQ for a short stay before re-hiding somewhere soon.
Thanks ChrisWhite62.

Victor has been travelling with me a while. Time he ventures off on his own again.
Another nice little gnome, discovered under a stump. Thought I was coming to a forest but the chainsaws got here first! Met a wombat in the bush nearby. Seemed in good health, so perhaps having a resident vet has been of benefit.

Moved to Wingello State Forest. Drive through the camping area & take the track to your right.

Down and ready to go again. This moveable was going a little further north, however plans have changed so it is now hanging around Canberra for a while....
#GA2902 - 09:30; I almost collected Victor myself whe n I visited Hawley Beach recently, but too a different road out. I saw he had made his way north despite my earlier lack of effort and had an eye out for him. Ran into Sol de lune at an event last night, so arranged to collect the vet and his menagerie, which had made their way to the big island, today. After the pick up, it was off home for some logging, then to make plans for it to be out and about again soon. TFTC ChrisWhite62

Have been sorting through various dz trophy points requirements to reveal a cache needed to be found starting with the letter 'V' to complete a particular trophy, plus nab a few other GA caches if available. The only two caches I could find starting with 'V' were 'Victoria Peak' and 'Victor the Vet Gnome'. The first required a very arduous trek on the West Coast...so soon ruled that one out, especially at this time of the year....the latter was a moveable in the Trevallyn State Reserve so was way easier to access..the only problem being in whether it had been found and not yet logged as is often the case with moveables..ah well, would soon find out.Having to once again attend an appointment to see a Specialist today (Friday), a plan was soon hatched. The weather forecast was not too bad in Launnie, being mostly fine and showers or rain developing later in the day. Set off around 9am in overcast conditions but cleared a little on arriving at the Dr's surgery. All went as well as expected there, then off to find the elusive moveable cache. Set the coords on the trusty Garmin Navigator as I find it much easier to navigate the jumble of streets around Trevallyn and
Launceston in general. It was not long before gz was reached with not a muggles in sight. Clue said it was hidden at the base of a tree...yes but which one. After a few false starts the right tree was soon indeed found and Victor the Vet Gnome was finally in my grasp..now just hoping it is the right cache name. Many thanks for placing this cache for us all to find ChrisWhite62....the cache is all in good nick by the way....have signed the log and now ready to move it on....possibly along a river some where....a good fishing spot maybe as the trout season has just opened.....cheers ST.

Dropped my little fellow off while I was collecting up three other moveables in the area. He is hiding in a hollow.
Back in his owners hands. Glad to find him again, I will take him back North again
