Description
Toby Moriarty Verstegen - part of the family in the GeGnome race
The plug is a little tight but it can be opened fairly easily. To open the plug and to access the log use your fingers on the edge of one side push and pull outward. To replace the plug push/pinch the sides in to get a good tight fit.
An entrant in this year's GeGnome Race.
Logbook inside, please move him on some distance and quickly after finding him of course. When you move him add the new coords make sure they are right use Google maps to check!!. Please a good hint so he can be found easily. Don't keep him in your possession for more than 2 days as this is a race & he wants to be competitive. The game site is here: http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/game/gegnome_ii/
Do Not Hide him with a GC Cache - they are not compatible. Nearby is ok with me but not with GC.
The relevant rules of the game are:
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the GeGnome to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the GeGnome provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If a GeGnome is moved overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the GeGnome mover may move the GeGnome back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the GeGnome.

Logs
Signed log and left in place as I don't have a good track record for re-homing gnomes in timely fashion
Cheers & TFTC MrDamage
Safe travels!!!!
As we turned off the main road we were pleased to see that the track leading to the river was dry. We felt our 2WD, low clearance street car would be able to manage this. We were about a third of the way to the first group when the track deteriorated and we found ourselves stradling some deep ruts the result of 4WD in the wet. Slowly and carefully we made our way towards the hide. We were able to park within 25m of the hide.
Accurate coordinates led us to the well hidden swag which, to our surprise, was a supermarket bag that was well tied up. We had no time to check all the moveable so grabbed the lot and stashed the bag, moveables and all in the car. It was then a slow trip back to the junction and down the next track to the next gathering or what turned out to be an equably daunting trip to the next hide where we found another bag of caches. We then headed back to the ju ction with the third track and a third group of caches.
We saw some awesome camping spots by the river on our way in and out and were glad to make it out with out any damage to the car apart from a very thick layer of dust.
After a very full day we spent the evening sorting the moveables and now to log them.
Toby Moriarty Verstegen was the first to be pulled out.
We will take him for a short trip before releasing him in time for the Ides of March.
Og all the moveables I do enjoy the Gnomes. Good Luck on the rest of your journey Toby !
TFTC !!
This fellow leapt straight into the car, and then spent the rest of the trip trying to get out!
We will move Toby on shortly.
