Description
A simple cache to bring you to this picturesque location
Buntine Rock can be climbed reasonably comfortably and from the top a 360 degree view of broadacre farming and bushland reserve is to be seen. This is a magnificent panorama in the springtime where at the base of the rocks can be found donkey orchids, spider orchids, cowslip orchids and sun orchids.

Logs
An extremely late log of this cache.
Found with Mr’s Z & T and my father-in-law after some time away in Perenjori.
Got a bit of a history lesson at the top of the rock from my father-in-law who was born and raised in Buntine.

I camped here tonight on my way to Kennedy Ranges and beyond.
The cache is in great shape. Ove 2 years since it was logged.

Out caching in the wheatbelt with Barnzy12, who made the find, was well hidden. Container in impeccable condition; TFTC!
Woohoo... a {FTF} on this cache. What a top spot for a cache and I can't believe that no-one has beaten me here. A cracker view from up on top of the rock. Thanks for bringing me here.
This trip through the Goldfields has been a while in the planning and the main mission was to collect caches in at least another 8 Local Government Areas to qualify for a challenge cache recently set up by megawatt60! I didn’t really have a plan on where I would be sleeping and was happy to throw the swag down once the daylight became in short supply. From Kalgoorlie I headed north as far as Leinster with a few deviations along the way. I then headed west through Mt Magnet and then meandered my way back towards Perth. I had GC and GCA caches lined up and tried to grab as many as I could while passing by. Cheers to all the CO’s for the hides and hopefully I can head back one day soon to clean up the caches I wasn’t able to find on this trip. TFTC
