Tried to cancel/postpone our 4 day trip to the mountains, but alas no refund was possible. Decided to go anyway despite the fires and keep adding to the local economy. Knowing all national parks are closed my options were quite limited, but trying to have fun with what is available. This one was a quick and easy find

We were sent out on a quick grocery errand, so dropped in here. We almost missed it somehow, despite it being a bit obvious. The log was in perfect condition, although the o-ring has departed, the log may suffer soon?? TFTC alnic39

Doing the tourist thing today and saw there was a geocache here I missed when I camped nearby last year. MrGT was obliging and we wandered over to make the find. My favorite colour. ☺

#GA2396 - 12:55; Day four of the summer sojourn in the Blue Mountains with the geohoney and a much quieter day was in order for today while the geohoney recuperated from an ailment which hit yesterday. After breakfast in Leura, the geohoney decided to check out the local retailm offerings, so I set off to check out some of the local cache offerings. I had enjoyed a few finds and decided that I had time for one more before heading back to collect the geohoney from her retail therapy in Leura. I headed for a familiar spot and after getting the parking sorted, made my way to GZ where I had a quick feel around and turned up the cache. TFTC alnic39

Yes! FTF on the new container which is in prefect condition despite being unfound since July. I drove up to get this and a few other caches for the summer scavenger series. Cheers!

Stopped here on the way to the event in Wentworth Falls with alnic zonic & lachni. When I picked up the cache the paint camo came up in my hand & the magnet came off so I gave it to Al for repair or replace. Signed the log & replaced as found. Thanks for the cache

Found with Toy Hunters during our time in the area....

Pulled up in the convenient parking spot and after a short search had the cache was in hand. Great structure and neat hide....blends in well.

Found on a weekend trip to the Blue Mountains with Sol de Lune. It was pouring down rain at this point, but we still continued - as people would say, the show must go on ! Once we got to GZ, it only took a little search to uncover the cache - such an awesome hide that blends in very well. Cool little structure as well. TFTC Alnic39!
