Logs
Today I took three hitchhikers for a wander through the Terraced Gardens at Island Bend. Well there were once magnificent terraced gardens here anyway. NPs removed all the foreign flora from the area. I remember walking through here about 30 years ago and there were still lots of different plants here, predominantly Lupins which were taking over the place quite invasively. My three companions liked the old garden ruins so much they decided to stick around for a bit.
Skeletosaurus thought sitting under the garden seat was more to their liking than on it. When I last saw Fred they were trying to play hide and seek in a tree hollow. And Happy was happy they found something to work on with their sledgehammer- I last saw them near what may have once been a pond that really did need fixing if it was meant to be one.
I tried taking photos of them at the last spot I saw them, but they all seemed a little camera shy, hiding from me. I've attached the photo anyway just in case someone wants to befriend them and needs help finding them. They are clever little hiders!
Have fun in your future travels little buddies.

This gnome has stopped to rest by the creek. I hope the mossies leave him alone. Enjoy a drive along this old part of the highway…a section along which I traveled as a kid.
Found this cute little fella hiding today, and picked him up for a ride. Will drop him off soon to continue his journey

Cache is with the CO...if the cache isn't going to be moved again maybe it should archived.
We dropped in at Lucky's place to rescue a movable, and had the chance to find this guy while we were there. He is still with the CO.... TFTMC!

nestled at the base of a tree in my front garden
After attending a wedding in Wartook it was time to look for my cache, it was 5.1Km as the crow flies from where I was staying but a 35Km road trip to reach. The trip gave me another aspect of the Grampians to view. It took a couple of passes in the area to find where TKJL had left it for me. It is now in my car for a trip back to NSW.
confirmed as still in the hands of the last finder. Will be moved along in the near future.
Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.
An update will be posted within 28 days….

Happy GeGnome Worker was ready to start its tour of South Australia so dropped off into the park at an early cacher meet up
When we were planning our mainland trip we noticed that there appeared to be ten GA moveable caches that we had not found hidden along the Murray River not far from the highway. They had to be added to our lists. We had hopec to collect them yesterday but time was not on our side. This meant that we had a little back tracking to do at the start of the day.
As we turned off the main road we were pleased to see that the track leading to the river was dry. We felt our 2WD, low clearance street car would be able to manage this. We were about a third of the way to the first group when the track deteriorated and we found ourselves stradling some deep ruts the result of 4WD in the wet. Slowly and carefully we made our way towards the hide. We were able to park within 25m of the hide.
Accurate coordinates led us to the well hidden swag which, to our surprise, was a supermarket bag that was well tied up. We had no time to check all the moveable so grabbed the lot and stashed the bag, moveables and all in the car. It was then a slow trip back to the junction and down the next track to the next gathering or what turned out to be an equably daunting trip to the next hide where we found another bag of caches. We then headed back to the junction with the third track and a third group of caches.
We saw some awesome camping spots by the river on our way in and out and were glad to make it out with out any damage to the car apart from a very thick layer of dust.
After a very full day we spent the evening sorting the moveables and now to log them. Happy GeGnome Worker was beaming when he was released and was looking forward spending some time using his spade. We will take this one for a short trip before releasing him in time for the Ides of March.

Moved South to an entirely new area - come and find me !!
Moved - but already picked up and heading south with another cacher.
This little guy popped into my house with Fitzy. Great to have a chance to discover him.

Glad I rescued this guy from his long time hidey-hole. He will be out again down south soon.

Dropped off near the Queanbeyan River.
I was headed home after a week roaming the countryside and called in here on the off chance I would find a moveable. There were quite a number partying here together. I picked up six little travellers and will move them on. This was one of them.

I dropped this cache down with some others of its friends.

Stopped at this location on my way to Sydney. It looked like a "Moveable Event" or, sadly, an unwanted dumping ground for them. So I slowly sorted through them and found the ones I required, signed the logs where I could and left them to party on. A container size other than "other" might have been handy!!!!

Just logging this movable into this area as a reminder for me to chase up this missing movable. Will alter log when sorted out.
Well looky, looky, I finally found a movable awesome, so I have taken it to relocate it.
