Description

Canning Highway Bridge

This is number...actually I've lost count, of my Bridge Series. Why? Because bridges are cool. Can you guess the next one?

The area hosts walking and cycle trails heading around the river. Along the river there are many GC Caches so I thought I'd get some GCA on the map. Feel free to take a picture of the surrounding area or from the bridge and upload it. Sometimes you can get a beautiful picture of traffic at twilight.

The cache is VERY small. It's a nano so bring your own writing tool and carefully place the log back inside the cache. This is a high density muggle area at times, I suggest dusk - after the cyclists and walkers, before the fishing people. After other bridge caches have been difficult to find I'm curious as to how people manage this one. Not in plain sight, you will have to feel your way.

Found this one okay.. although hard to find without people noticing

Based on cacher feedback I've replaced this one and moved to a more reachable location.

I could not find this one when returning, it wasn't where I placed it. Unsure whether it has been moved, muggled or blown in the wind. May consider moving this to a safer location.

TFTC shaydex. Found this cache late today. I definitely could not reach this cache and it took a lot of effort with some stolen number plates laying on the ground to get this cache from its hiding spot. Otherwise i would have had to come back with a tool to be able to reach this cache. Feel it is out of reach for some people in its location. if it was moved left or right it would be slightly easier to reach.

Had a good feel around in lots of likely places. No joy. Bit of a nasty one this one I reckon.

first find

10-Apr-16
Found the cache while out on a bike ride around the river. Fortunately I had a hint of where the cache was located so it was a quick and easy find. That's another one crossed off the list close to home.

Passing by on my bicycle ride, thought I'd stop for another attempt. Found quick but took quite a stretch to reach.
Didn't have pen so will have to sign tomorrow. TFTC

Some feedback taken, description edited. Happy hunting

Had a reasonable feel around first row of pylons and metal beams etc but short on time this early morning. Be prepared get your hands dirty. May prove to be higher difficulty rating. Path very busy with bicyclists and occassional jogger.
