Description

You will find near GZ a long stretch of old pipeline.

GZ is not far off the track, so please be careful of muggles.

Go at the right time and you will see kangaroos.

Cache is a small clip top contianer with swaps. Can't remember if I put a pen in or not I am afraid.

We are heading home from the Red Centre Experience Event in Alice Springs and are currently caching around Bendigo. Today we concentrated on GCA caches as bonus points are up for grabs this month. Thanks tigersden for helping us add to our dragon zone points. This area is lovely and we enjoyed our walk around gathering caches. TFTC Clan Minotaur

The annual Central Victorian Get Together event was held at No7 Reservoir in Kangaroo Flat today. A small group of us enjoyed the walk around the reservoir finding a mix of both GC and GCA caches.

Virbul and I started walking the loop with Jtnsilo and my Wench but they both piked out after a couple of hundred meters. Virbul and I continued on with GCA caches being on my radar but not on his (yet?) After scooping a FTF on a cache not too far from Tigersden's home den I was on a high and glad I could add to my GCA cache find total with some well placed caches. I also enlightened Virbul about GCA and it's philosophy on free and open caching. Clapping

Thank you, tigersden, for this cache and for helping to keep GCA caching alive in Bendigo.

#GA1098 - 14:28; Day 2 of the Melbourne Mega Mission with Sol de lune, now enroute from Kerang to Anglesea. We had now reached Bendigo, and after a stop for lunch made our way here to the No. 7 Park to complete a circuit collecting both GCA and GC caches along the way. Enjoyed the history about this now rapidly disintegrating pipeline. TFTC tigersden Very HappyClan Cerberus

Grabbed with LuckyL10n as we headed for the Surf Coast Mega. Took a round about way to get here, all while chasing a few more GCA caches....

Always enjoy finding a piece of history while out caching...and this is one of those occasions. The pipeline has certainly seen better days, but we enjoyed the history lesson.

Thanks Tigersden.....enjoyed the walk around the area grabbing most in the series...

After a day in Bendigo hunting down a few GC caches and to find a Puzzle Cache to complete the mission, I decided to get out of the Buisy City and go for a walk around this lake.
I managed to find all of the GCA caches in this area in just over an hour and just before sunset Smile
There is a hide simmilar to this back in my hometown. A novel place for a cache and a quick find.

We had planned a day caching in Castlemaine and noticed that Tigersden had published 11 caches recently so we included a flying trip to Bendigo to look for these.
After caching along the way we reached the reserve where some of these caches where hidden just after one and so began the hunt.
This was the first cache we found. It was well hidden and the coordinates were accurate leading to a quick find. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache Tigersden.
