J & J's thirty-first geocache hide. A small cammo Sistema hidden in Wilfred Taylor Reserve.
Welcome to the home of the Noarlunga United Bulldogs.
The club was founded under the name of Wakefield Wanderers in 1963, and originally played at Wakefield Reserve, Acre Avenue.
From what I can gather this original ground was located at:
S35° 06.596'
E138° 30.911'
The club moved to Wilfred Taylor Reserve in 1974.
The cache is hidden in a tree only metres from the club's perimeter, so stealth may be required on match days.

Didn't connect that it was a GCA cache when it came up on my GPS. Happy to find it nevertheless. Lots of bark in that hollow, guess it was easy to miss.
Searched all through the tree but the cache doesn't seem to be there anymore ☹️
Parked quite nearby and had a pleasant little walk to GZ and a nice quick find despite the crowds at the nearby sports field [^]

Thankfully the area was totally free of muggles when we arrived. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a good hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks J_&_J for the cache.

I found a cache for Geosportz only a couple hundred meters from here - and now I'm back for another Geosportz cache! I guess it is a rather sporty park after all! Although no sports happening today...
