Description

Let's go caching

While out finding caches for GeosportZ 2016 I thought another cache in this area was warranted. The cache is a magnetic keyholder and an easy find. 3 car park spots near entrance to c3 and in street driving in. Also lots of tracks and trails around to explore and you can even find more caches as well. Please bring a pen.

Hi whitewebbs, and thanks for the cache. Found today on a lunchtime stroll.
Can't believe I haven't stopped to look for this before, it's an often travelled path.
Guessed the date incorrectly and put 26th in the log. D'oh!

Caching in the area we found your cache along the way.

Many thanks whitewebbs for publishing this cache and adding to our caching experience today.

Visiting frinds in Hobart and doing the 3 capes walk on this Tassi trip. Dino and I did a number of GCA caches as well. This was one pf them. Thank you for putting it out.

A walk back along the Rivulet had me come past here.

out and about to cache for the summer game and this was in sight. log damp but usable. TFTC TNLN saw a platypus and some baby ducks with mum in the rivulet after this find.

I found this cache with mummmy and caughtatwork on our week long holiday in Hobart.

A quick find in the most logical place for this geocache here tonight. Down from Melbourne for a weeks holiday this was the first change we had for caching and the first cache we found. A quick sign of the logbook and we were on our way to do some more. Thanks for this geocache here today.

13-Oct-16
A late-night find, and I left the headlights on to illuminate GZ.
I ride past here every time I head out on the MTB (often heading up the hill behind, but sometimes being lazy around the newish concrete path).
Thanks.

Very quiet in this area this morning so we were able to make a quick find, log and replace before anyone passed by. Coordinates were spot on and cache and contents were in very good condition.
Thanks for the cache Whitewebbs.

Hi whitewebbs
Enjoyed doing this cache as it gave me some frightening memories
When I worked for 'Sullivans Cove Whisky' - we stored the full whisky barrels in what is now the Church - working with full barrels of whisky at 30-35 feet above floor level was none to nice!
Anyway, this place was muggle central today!!
Sainted the cache at 1500hrs - school getting out etc; people everywhere!
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

Sorry for the late log I was busy getting ready for a work trip and forgot all about doing this one I had to be reminded by Goose.

We pulled up not far from GZ and with luck on our side we were about to grab the cache after only a moment of waiting for the coast to be clear, soon signed and replaced.

Thanks for the cache.

We had to wait for a few muggles to leave before we could retrieve the cache. Nice area for a stroll. TFTC

whitewebbs thank you for the cache.
A nice easy find on a lovely day.

Day 1 back home after our Red Centre trip. A quick find today with SSR on our way to Margate for a multi souvenir. I was worried we would hit the mass departure of churchgoers but only needed to wait for one muggle with a pram. TFTC

It took quite a bit of coaxing to get aus2 to forego his Sunday morning ritual of a long leisurely breakfast while reading the weekend papers but he relented and we were rewarded with a first to find and a cute little pathtag. We will pass this on to our little cheetah (deercheetah), who loves them and it can be part of her geocaching collection. Once at GZ we had to wait for walkers, cyclists and church goers to leave the area but when it was clear a quick find was had. Nice spot for a cache, so thanks for this one whitewebbs.

Happy hunting. Pathtag left for FTF Dancing
