Description
A pleasant walk with some nice views along the way
There are several ways you can approach this cache. The easiest options, along well formed tracks, are from either Linden Street at the northern edge of the cemetery, or the end of First Avenue. There are some good views near to GZ but also some pretty hairy drop offs, however the cache location is in a safe spot if you don't wander off too far. It's hidden close to the track in an interesting hollow formed by rock and the roots of a tree that requires a small easy scramble down to get to.
When we placed the cache, we were surprised by the amounts of bugs and insects in the hollow, and even a big black spider so be careful where you put your hands!

Another nice little Hancock Clan Cache on the homeward bound leg of my GCA hike today. Interesting little GZ with good views along the top here. Such a great day out, not one DNF and 2 FTF... plus cleaning up some quality GCA caches. Cheers! Little bugger is safely home

Took the shortcut up the hill to this one which made for quit an interesting and steep climb (didn't need any rescue like mr Hancock!!). Had read the description well and wasn't to surprised, it just belongs to caching in the bush!

Now that the rains had stopped, Team MavEtJu and I were able to tackle some of the GCA caches in this area. While I was looking over here, he was looking over there and when I turned my head to see where that horrified sound had come from, I saw a Dutchman flying in one direction and a cache container in the other. I also saw something black go flying with the container and knowing just how fond my caching buddy is of 8-legged cache guards, I though he'd found an extremely large specimen. As he wouldn't go near the box again, I took a closer look to see just what had frightened him - hahaha! I safely signed the log for both of us and saved his nerves by replacing the cache, under supervision. So simple, yet so effective.
Out caching with ziggiau! A nice walk through the upper and lower areas west of the Sutherland cemetery.
We both searched for it but it was me who found it, only to throw it on the ground when I saw something hanging under it. Yeah great joke, hahaha, fool the dutchman, it works every time. It was up to ziggiau to put it back.

A long train trip from Lithgow to Sutherland for this little pocket of GCA caches.
All good, but take care with the cache guardian.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Have been to this spot a number of times before for the last gnomes race. A quick find like redbackspider knew what I was expecting but still made me start. Thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan

After The Black Hole and Love Fifteen, we were starting to run out of time if Mrs Peemacvee was to make it to her pilates class. Had to step it up and hurry. We got to GZ and started searching. She had me read out the Description which was really a way of delaying me so she could search while I read. The only satisfaction I received, when she found the cache instead of me, was hearing the scream that followed. Intended result achieved, I believe. TFTC The Hancock Clan FTF # 3 today. Just had enough time to enjoy the views as we hurried back to the car.
