Description
A small cache in a nice park.
Placed as part of the 2016 GeosportZ challenge, this cache was placed in order to qualify for 'synchronised swimming' where the difficulty/terrain rating required was 1.5/1.5. The cache is hidden amongst an interesting tree with many trunks, and there's a picturesque rock feature that looks like a very old bridge just upstream from the cache.

Logs
I was very surprised that I found this container in place, considering the last time it was found.
It was very much buried under leaves & bark.
Log was one solid piece of paper so was un-readable.
Was over this way the say goodbye to a family friend.

Caching solo today and out on a mission today to collect eight different cache types in a day and some moveables for the event this afternoon.
This was cache type number 4 for the day. Arriving at GZ, the GPS was swirling around and I could see a few possible locations that matched the clue. After a bit of fruitless searching around and stepping back to do another count, a much more likely structure for the hide could be seen. Sure enough it concealed the cache. Unfortunately the cache has taken in a lot of water and the log is competely soaked and unsignable. I didnt have a replacement log on me so have taken a photo of the cache as proof of find if required. I drained the cache and tried to dry it out somewhat before returning as found.
Thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan, some more points for NSW!

All done with the hard hiking, this was a last minute driveby as I headed home. Parked nearby and made a quick find in the park. A nice little cache in a nice little spot... oh look a trig... maybe time for just one more

What a lovely little park I didn't know about! Even the nearby soccergame had no idea what I was doing.

A long train trip from Lithgow to Sutherland for some GCA caches, nice little group there.
An easy find, thanks for the cache.
An easy find, thanks for the cache.
Had a few hours to kill while the car was in for a service so I strolled down to Sutherland to pick up a few caches. I was aiming for another cache but found this one was closer so started here. Walked over to the GZ with only one muggle off in the distance so I knew I'd have no problem with the searching. Found what was referred to in the hint and wondered how much water gets pushed through that small tunnel at peak times. All in excellent order. Thanks Hancock Clan.
Found while on my way down to Engadine. Walked towards the cache from where I parked near the oval. As the GPSr counted down spotted where I thought it was going to be. Once close then had to work out how to get into the hide location. Found it had all these little insects fly out at me. Signed the log and replaced as found thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan
