I have got the cache I removed it due to quite a few snake sitings this summer in my yard and out in the easement. I don't think it is safe to poke around the fiddle stick pile until I have a clean up in winter.
Might need checking as not found in over 2 years. Not being rude. Just that the cache has not been found for a long time and could have been muggled.
Did not find. Tried looking under some rocks but found nothing. Also found the pile of sticks mentioned and searched around it with no luck . Maybe it was because I entered the coordinates into Google Maps? Don’t know either. Probably hidden so well or was cache blind. First GCA cache I tried finding. Also cool that there are two caches literally right next to each other my cache and this one. Thought I would be the first person to find in two years!

Felt like a bush turkey, tried to stick it to this cache but could not find it or keep the kids quiet! Hopefully it's all good, if so will return for another crack.
Just letting my friend Sambuccasam know that Samboo and Max dropped by but was sad that you weren't home. Suzy said you were probably at work, which is ok because it means you are earning money for your own adventures. I had a friend who wants to meet you. She said she would wait until you were ready. She was also very careful with the pile of sticks.
Her GA code is GA3664.

We had even more incentive to find some caches today... points (or dirt) for the Journey or Destination game and our 1,000th GCA cache find. So we went north to Brisbane to Sambuccasam country. We weren't expecting to find Sambuccasam and technically we didn't... she found us. Not only did we get to log two moveables in transit but were escorted to Fiddle Sticks. It wasn't hard to know which was GZ even though we haven't found a cache hidden like this before. And it sure helped to get a tip on which side to look because this could have turned into an upsized version of the game we played so often as kids. A very clever way to hide a cache, TFTC and your company Sambuccasam.

The advantage of being a bear, is that occasionally you can claim that because you do not have opposable thumbs someone else can sign the log in your name, while you get to do something more enjoyable. In this case today it was meeting up with some like minded friends - of the bear variety.
I do not know if I played fiddlesticks as a cub, I have erased all parts of my memory BP (before Petan) which allows me to conveniently create a new me. I imagine it would be a difficult game to play, sans thumbs.
Thank you for letting Pete sign the logbook on my behalf, and I enjoyed meeting Wolfie, Red Ted, and Peppermint. I also must apologise too, if they start insisting on being taken on an adventure it will be because I told them of the great fun I have with Petan.
Thank you for the cache.
PS I also must apologise for all the gold points I am leaving on behalf of Griffin. (no not really!)

There is much joy in meeting Geocachers "in the wild" or in this case, almost home turf - or is that home ground. I remember playing fiddlesticks as a child, although it was called pickup sticks in our house. "Fiddle sticks" was an expression used by my grandmother to indicate that something I, or my cousins said, couldn't possibly be true.
Must admit that is an impressive pile of sticks. I am glad the object of this game is to find the cache, not remove each stick without the whole lot tumbling down.
It was terrific to meet you today and to claim a find on your cache. Enjoy the dinosaurs.

Please disregard the previous finder comments. He has not found this cache nor signed the log book. The cache is not an ants nest. It is clean and dry and bug free. I just went and looked as it is behind my house. Armchair caching is not satisfying
Cache is still in place. I checked this morning. No need to touch the sticks.fidfle sticks are restacked and good to go.
No luck for me today, it was a quiet day and I had plenty of time to look but no chocolates for me today
A bit of fiddling to find this cunningly hidden cache! Nice one Sambuccasam.

One if three caches I was able to find on the way to the airport. This one had me thinking that I had to play it justy like the game but I quickly spotted something. Thanks for the cache.

TheHinds_xo and I were out on a geocaching mission this afternoon, including picking up a few for GEOSPORTZ 2016. This was another of these and the second for this particular CO who I am loving their containers and placement. TFTC

I saw notification of this cache yesterday and decided that I should get a find on it for my GeosportZ challenge then I realised this morning that if it was still available for a FTF I could claim it under the Golf category. So I decided that I should take the trip over to check it out.
I had been here for the other cache so I knew that there was a back entrance to the park. There was a game on so the park was full and so was the car park.
I headed up the path and arrived at GZ to search for likely hiding spots and noticed an unusual SPOT. I have never seen one like that before. It looked like an OCD Scrub Turkey had been here,
I started searching and then noticed that I was being approached from the other side of the muggle fence. It is not very often that I get muggled at a cache and even less often then it is the CO. Good to catch up with you Sambuccasam We had a chat and I found out that the creation has been built up over years by the CO. I was also assured that the cache was, indeed, in there somewhere.
Under the scrutiny of the CO I then set about locating the cache. I have played fiddle sticks many times over the years and I remembered one of the rules was to remove your target without disturbing the remainder of the sticks. Eventually I did find the container and managed to get it out without disturbing anything else.
I signed the logs and managed to get the cache hidden back into the SPOT without it collapsing.
Thanks Sambuccasam, I enjoyed paying fiddle sticks with you. Gald to managed to get a *FTF* for the GeosportZ challenge as well.
